There has been a last minute change to the Sale team. Unfortunately both Grumpy and myself have had to withdraw from the team.

I am really disappointed at having to do this as I was so looking forward to bowling at Mildura. The gods have not smiled on me too kindly at the present as I am now facing my second battle with cancer. I will be coming out of surgery just as the team is leaving for Mildura. I know which one I would rather take part of.

So I will now take this opportunity to wish all the bowlers good luck and hope you all have a fantastic time.

I look forward to seeing some of you in Sale for Country Cup.
