Yeah if me and Peter were unable to make the team I guess that makes it one hell of a team guys, i have to reciprocate my mates sentiments on this one.

We may have finished runners up to you Victorians last year ( I know this because i managed the team ) but this year the likes of Richard Palma, Jason Osbourne and Ron forbes along with the return of Lynnae Rankine who is fired up this year to show you all how good she can really bowl as well as the experience of Gina Lloyd and the leader of this awesome team Josie Adams, well all i can say is good luck everyone because if there is a super team at Classic level well i just mentioned them.

i dont know michael you do have a very strange imagination as the team you have mentioned looks good on paper but as we all know it's not how good you look it's how you perform that counts and with the oldies in that side i dont think there is enough viagra to help them out.

It is great to see so many people in the roll offs so far, 28 bowlers across both the classic and restricted is a great achievement ( not Quite as good as NSW lol, just jokes guys ) and this makes for a very competitive roll off and also ensures that a strong team represents your zone.

Just a shout out to my 2 Fusion team mates from last year Danial Lim and Tony Pappin, go get em guys and i hope to see you in ACT in a victorian shirt, I will be there even though at this point in time i am not in a team but who knows what the draft will offer this time around.

Oh i just took another look at the list and noticed another bowler i was lucky enough to bowl with the very first year of the inception of the Darrell Holt Restricted Challenge and we helped the Northern Territory team to Gold Success as the first ever champions.

Are you passionate about supporting bowling in Victoria?

The Holt Challenge Inc Victoria Committee would like to call for Expressions of Interest from interested parties to assist with fundraising through the formation of a fundraising sub-committee.

The Holt Challenge Carnival is designed to foster, develop and advance a spirit of good sportsmanship and fellowship, to promote and maintain good relationships amongst the representative teams and to provide an opportunity for a combination of graded and handicapped competition. The Holt Challenge Carnival consists of Restricted and Classic events and welcomes representative teams from all over Australia. This year, the carnival is being held at Belconnen, ACT in September.

The fundraising committee will work through consultation of the main committee to support the Victorian Holt Challenge Restricted and Classic Teams travelling to ACT through the organisation and support of fundraising events.

This is a great way to support bowling in Victoria and contribute to the success of the teams.

If you are passionate about putting your creative talents to use in finding innovative and successful ways to raise funds, then please send your Expression of Interest along with your ideas for achieving fundraising success through to the Holt Challenge Victoria committee (either via a private message to ‘Holt Challenge Victoria’ or to PO Box 2100, Traralgon, 3844). Expressions of Interest will be accepted until last mail on Friday 10th April, 2009.
