Hey Craig,
Don't forget about poor ol Bendigo. Pleeeeeeeease come over and show them how to use the Kegal. Looks like the blind leading the blind.
Seriously though it would be great to have someone over that could show the guys what this thing is actually capable of. Some coaching wouldn't go astray either. If you put your name to it, i'm sure you would have a full sheet of paying customers.
Let me know your thoughts.

I didnt realise that they had introduced mixed teams as that would be the only way that we would see a Chandler bowling with a Garioch these days :wink:

To let you know, it was ED Fleming & Mentone. This was the closest final this zone has seen over the past 3 years, with the top 2 not decided until the end of the final game.
It came down to very tight finish with werribee needing a whitewash to make it through. In the end it was a 6-1 result to werribee, allowing mentone to proceed to the state finals, with ed fleming finishing just ahead of them.
Werribee had some great averages from the day, but just managed to keep coming up short by a few pins. The had best pinfall, but were unable to convert those great games to wins.
Some of the matches were great to watch and came down to the wire on a number of occasions, and porto bowling 300 was the highlight of the day. He must of decided that the only way to win was by bowling the perfect game, after the 290 was bowled at him in the previous match.

This means that all four centres will be represented at the state finals from this zone.
