emerson shild team

Well Mooroolbark has finally held there roll off to decide the team. A disapointing turn out for both mens and ladies divisions.

The team was decided over a hard fought 8 games (not).

The teams are as follows:

Mens
Lance Dyer 1707/8 213.38 ave
Alan Bennett 1590/8 198.75 ave
Marcus Collen 1567/8 195.88 ave
Steve Eeles 1567/8 195.88 ave
Patrick Donker 1559/8 194.88 ave
Ian Strahan 1500/8 187.50 ave
Ray Mischler 1470/8 183.75 ave

Ladies
Viv Coolen
Robyn Bull
Fiona Denmeade
Andrea Sparks
Marg Newton
Lorraine Miller

As i said a disapointing turn out. 10 men & 6 ladies.

Craig, will these scores improve our odds, as the scores are lot lower than expected on our so called ditch that everyone says we have.

I guess only time & good luck will tell, if we will make it to Geelong, to regain the trophy that is ours.

ODDS UPDATE

ed flemming same odds as sunraysia, although i noticed strahanie must have trialled right handed, so i will rate you a bit better than sunraysia

sunraysia 10,000 / 1 (they have come in, because i feel i am hangin way too much on the ex team mates)
ed flemming 9,999.5 / 1 (where is the dave "chuckles" berry) that would have brought you into 20/1

i will post some legit odds over the next 2 weeks when a few more teams put up their teams

late mail there could be a change in the geelong team, but i won't go revealing anymore until we know for sure whats going on

Hey guys it aint long till we come down to Wodonga and kick some butt.
Team Deano will arrive, the red carpet will be rolled out and Team Deano will give free lessons to everybody even if they dont want them.

I just hope they know what oil is and put some on the lanes cos ive heard they are pretty dry there. Might just have to bring the afro/r.

Still dont know where we are staying.

Cant wait to catch up with all.

We should do a pub crawl on the saturday. We mite win that. HAHAHAHA

Cheers

Deano

no dissention, a player has thrown his leg over one too many times, and given himself a hernia, this was a couple of weeks ago, so he is on the mend and a last minute decision will be made

wodonga ---- oil i bowled there 20 years ago it was great i went cost to coast back in the urethane days, about 3 years later i decided i needed more power as i lacked strike power

there ya go deano, theres an idea of what oil is at wodonga, i'd save your crawling, for management of the bowl and not the pub if i were you

Hey dont forget Chucky im supposedly the dry lane specialist that averages 220+ with out trying.

You said that.

Hey by they Chucky dont u still need strike power?????

Deano

HEy Deano

Oil Update......

Some of the guys went up to Wodonga sat arvo,to what I can gather
Urethane's going a mile from a mild stroker
Reactive's way early roll out from a mild tweaker

It doesnt look good Afro/R Territory

I did not perfrom that well at country cup on the dry lanes but i feel pretty good about this weekend so we will see how things go (i should perform well on really dry lanes) good luck to all teams compeating this week end.

Good to see the old Deano back,I was starting to miss the trash talk

Rowie wants to know if you ready for him....btw new ball ave 210+ over 12 and we know he likes the dry,,,,,oh and playing you deano 8)

bit of confidence in the shepp camp by the sounds of it

the roo will really enjoy letting the wind out of your sails

theres no better feeling is there roo ???

just like i did to wozza, millsy and crew last year

by the way, the AFRO/R has been deemed illegal, so it cant be used in competitive play, i know roo will challenge this by saying there's really no competition, but if rowey is pumping the hole, maybe he will be able to challenge roo on this

they will learn the game aint over until we say

GAME OVER

Good to see the banter is the same as allways
Chuck i think you have deano by the balls this time

ed flemming is crusty mischler can make the team you guys might as well stay home

rumour has it that the great one couldn't come to grips with wodonga on sunday

is it really true ???

wodonga and shepparton made it thru, with sunraysia and bendigo finishing a mile off the pace

home town track got the locals thru, gees i don't even think i gave em odds, so i will now

10000000000000000000 /1 on winning at geelong

even money to run last

out wiff da sand paper boys

Yes its true, Shepparton and Wodonga in the mens and Shepparton and Sunraysia in the ladies. There were some struggling bowlers sunday not exactly sure on averages but I'm sure Kev will have all of that.

Morwell team as of Friday night and I dont think that there were any changes so it will be as follows

Joe (the Go Man  ) Tomaniski 233 ave
Bruce (Chuckys Fav Person from CCup) Aplin 224 ave
Peter Flannigan 223 ave
Stan Bosma 216 ave (We took your advise about Millsy being the lightest anchor and on size Stan will make Kissy look like a midgit)
Nathan Luke 210 ave
Sean Gothe 205 ave
Colin Murphy 203 ave

Reserves

Brett Lacey 202 ave
Jason Motta 201 ave
Bryan Woszczeiko 201 ave

There you go Chucky you can have the ball return all to yourself

Good Luck at the zone final to all of the guys that have made the team and no doubt they will have a few surprises up their sleeves for the final at Geelong

I am sure if there are any changes Joe will post them as well as the ladies side

Emerson Shield

Hey Chucky

Shep Men
Wodonga men

Shep Women
Sunraysia Women

Yer right on the ball,The great One did'nt come to grips with with bulk oil from 1 - 7 then dry frrom 8 - 30 what a condition......lol, even the locals struggled at times

Deano Played Rowie when he was on the hole 2-0 in rowies favour but was definetly the highlight of the day

Alot Of fun was had buy all which was all you could do with that condition

So Shepp will so you in Geelong,Playing the Main Men on their home turf It does'nt get any better than this

Cheerz
Kevin

where did them scores come for the morwell men, were they scores with handicap or what???

would have been sad to see wozza and jase not bowling, but as of today i have resigned my position at work and most likely won't be bowling myself

yes i tried to warn roo, but obviously he thought i was stretching the truth about wodonga....................... LOL as if

and we all know if ya don't laugh, you'll cry

funny how everything evolves, a week ago we all saw a different picture

cheerz guys
