Scores over 1200 - 0 ;)
I think i might have suggested that we would not have any 1200's -- very difficult in a 5 man team to bowl 1200. In fact there were only 4 above 1100 - Geelong's 1142 being the highest.

Great weekend and it was great to see some new centres invloved in the state final. Well done to the winners and great bowling by Chucky who has copped a lot of flack for his comments from everyone including his team mates. But it goes to show that the favourites keep getting beat year after year. The standard of bowling was fantastic and to se so many younger bowlers competing speaks well for this tournament for many years to come.
Hopefully it will not be too long before Goldpin make the announcements for next years venues.

Chris beat me home by 1 stick....nice ;)

I like stats, lets see more :shocked!:

Would love to have more of the data to give more stats
I don't have individual scores for the first seven games (they did not give us the second page of the standing sheet until round 8 )
and i don't have total points - was not on standing sheet
If anyone could send me points for their centre and any games in the first seven rounds that would be great.
I would like to try to put data onto a web site at some stage (maybe a little ambitious though).
I would like to try to include zone data and previous years data as well.

Kev tell you daughter that there is nothing wrong with wearing socks and scuffs. Just so long as the color of your socks matches the color of your shirt. Lol.

Gary send me you e-mail, and l will be happy to supply our data. Including the 137 game l bowled on day 2.

Would like to see what will happen next year with the zone & state finals.

Would like to see Goldpin arrange for all 3 zone finals to be completed on the same weekend, to ensure no clashes of events like this year, with Eastern Zone clashing with the Mildura Marathon.

As a rumour is also floating around of more teams in the finals, maybe it might be worthwhile looking at multilple weekends for the finals.

As an example 12 teams in each final.
2 rounds of 11 games, plus 2 positional rounds. (1 after each round)

Hold each round in a different centre. Consecutive weekends perhaps.

If they stay with 10 teams, then 1 weekend is fine, but if the numbers increase, it will be a very long weekend as we saw with this weekend.

Just a couple of idea's

"BLIT" hell yes
my friend craig really likes to let me know when he beats me in something because it sure doesnt happen often...

deep down he knows that i am the BLIT...

porto

yeah porto you probably are, i'll let you know when i finish digging, cause i really have to go deep, you know

:D :D :D

if i surface in china, you know you got no chance

craig... showdown... tonight
then we see if i am the BLIT
the BLIT should be the one who has no trouble beating the top all star from emerson shield...
