Can't wait til ONS is over in the hope it'll mean Bats will be out of the main event scene. At a house show they had the main event as Edge v Benoit. Hopefully this is a possible feud that might be coming up next for the 2nd greatest champ of all time, Edge!! (Surprise surprise, the greatest comes from Canada too!!)

SECOND greatest champ of all time!!

He's one of the best on the mic. He can make a crowd hate him even in his home town. He is able to drag good matches out of ANYONE!! He has all those skills that seem to lack from champs in recent years.
 
oh i totally agree with u there. edge does really get the crowd going ey. he's great at playing the bad guy. he needs a tough competitor to have a feud with tho( such as benoit, and last years feud with cena) otherwise he is a good wrestler with standard competition and its boring.
and i also agree with what alot of ppl are saying about batista. i truly think he should stop going for the heavyweight title. he should try another title or switch to ecw where i think he's do well there
 
From what I remember it wasnt Edge that made the crowed hate him. The crowed started hating him because as a babyface he sucked real bad so the WWE had no choice but to make him a heel. I admit he did make a pretty good heel with Lita by his side but I don't think he's anywhere near being a "great champion". Let me re-phrase, Edge will end his career as the Greatest Transitional Champion of all time. And there is no way he is close to having the mic skillls of the Rock or Jericho. The problem with Edge is he needs someone by his side for his character to work. He was great when he teamed with Christian and Lita carried his charcter for a long time before she retired.
 
I will agree he is no Rock or Jericho, but to be great you don't need to be the next so-and-so.... He is the first Edge and will be great because of that. He's the top heel in the company at the moment. He was actually pretty good as a babyface, but like all things, a change is sometimes needed, especially after 5 years of playing to the crowd, he's now in his 3rd of being the person everyon loves to hate. In this day where people love to cheer the heels, Edge manages to get loud boos wherever he goes which is a lost art. His feud with HBK in late 04 early 05 was one of the best of that year, only to be topped by his feud with Hardy (and HBK/Angle).
 
lets all agree that he will make a great transitional champion of all time in the future despite the fact he sometimes acts like a joke he is a smart wrestler i mean take the way he has won both the wwe and world titles

and the way he fueds with many top superstars makes him a well reconised superstar who one day can say like triple h says "HE HAS BEATEN THEM ALL"

edge is still the king of ladder matchs he is a king of the ring winner and there anit many superstars that can say they have won a king of the ring tournament

he is still a very good asset to the wwe and will remain that way till the end of his career and before his time to retire he will go down as the greatest tranistional champion of all time
 
khail to face cena again for the wwe title wonder what will happen cause last weeks attack will sure see them fighting for the title again will cena retain which will be boring or will khail become a great threat to wwe champion contenders or better yet make it a triple threat of fatal four way with one or more superstars added

anyone elses thoughts on that
also what about the intercontenial title wonder when it will next be challeneged
 
It's a shame the Intercontinental, United States and Tag team Championships have lost most of it's prestige these days. Seems like the old WCW title where anybody, everybody and nobodies can a run a champion. I remember back in the early to mid 90s these titles were held by superstars that deserved and worked hard to become a champion and defend there IC, US and Tag titles in main event matches. These days people can just walk in to the WWE, get a title match on debut and win a title. It's stupid and rediculas. If someone has talent and the WWE wants to build there profile quickly, put them up against a top superstar as the did with Cena, put him up against angle in his first match. In my opinion the IC, US and tag titles have become boring even if held by top superstars. Get the mid-card wrestlers who deserve to be champions in to the main event like the old days and give these championships the respect it deserves
 
i think cena will retain again. although keep in mind cena and khali have a special challenge match for the wwe championship on saturday nite main event. but i think cena will remain champ.

For the first time, i think, i completely agree with you on that.

Long gone are the days where the being the IC or US champ meant you were the number 1 contender to the top titles. The last time that both titles were on the line in the same singles match was HHH and Kane back in 2002. Hope they do something like that this year. MVP v Edge (or even Benoit v Edge if he wins the US back)

And ffs a PUDDING MATCH??? Its only classed as EXTREME if the pudding is off!!
