emerson shild team

Im am safe - I dont barrak for Carlton

They could be gold pom poms with GAME on one and OVER on the other

My apologies to Paul Harding from Naree who bowled the fine 254 on the weekend

Now that all the teams are in lets have the revised odds

ok, here we go

**** ODDS UPDATE**** MEN

GEELONG 1/100000000000000000000000

Too much strength all over the sheet, if flynny 1 or flynny 2 or myself aren't going so well, we may line up at 2,3,4, tell me a team, who wants to play us 3 with their 3 weakest in their best line up.

anyhow enough of misleading people into thinking they have a chance, geelong by 15 points plus

MELTON 2/1

not quite complete to take the title, but these guys are going to roll alot of teams not used to seeing melton in the fray, they were kicked out of Dunn Shield after winning it, making them better than Dandenong and Keon Park.

adrian, adam and hodgey are the strength, they like geelong, don't play with their line up, they know they are good enough to get the job done in their set order.

ED FLEMMING 5/1

not enough strength throughout the list, but got enough to finish in the upper scale of things, won their zone in controversial circumstances, but Lance and born again good boy strahany will knock over enough pins, to carry them over most overall pinfalls

LATROBE VALLEY 10/1

no wozza, no motta, no lacey, no webby, no millsy, no stanton, no hope

i must be feeling generous tonight, putting them in at such generous odds, rightfully should be in at 25/1, but i've made allowances for joe qualifying with a 233 average (even if it was only for 3 games)

wozza will be waving the "GAME OVER" pom poms at his own guys after game 3, after that it will be all downhill

NARRE WARREN 25/1

ex Geelong boy Steve Hogg will use all his smarts that you learn in geelong, and guide his team to a mid field place, they did well last year and earn respect

SHEPPARTON 25/1

guys theres oil, do i have to explain why you will lose

KEV & KERR, ROWEY all hold their own, but track will be way too damp from the boys in the valley, maybe they should stay at home and pick peaches, instead of coming down here and throwing peaches at the pins

MENTONE 50/1

In by default, nothing can be set to get them running nothing more than a credible 7th place, if someone would like to post a team, i might change my opinion

WODONGA 1000/1

the lanes are flat here, they oil more than 10 boards, so we will be happy to take the 14 points off you, and try not to make you look too bad, only made it through home ground advantage, and well boys, you aint gonna be at home this weekend

WERRIBEE 100000000/1

weren't good enough to win points :p maybe next year you guys can average 240

SUNRAYSIA 10000000/1

team roo boy averaged a smidgeon over 150, and he shone as normal, but when everyone else is shooting sub 150, on crap conditions, and i must be honest, they were crap, what do you expect, if you look back, i did warn the roo boy what he was getting himself into

BENDIGO 100000000/1

in the danger zone with sunraysia, they also fell victim to the crap they had to bowl on

why did the last 3 teams get a mention???

i have to involve all my friends that wanted to make a name for themselves against us at home, unfortunately the only statement they will make is as stated below

"WELL DONE GEELONG ON YOUR AWESOME PERFORMANCE"

****ODDS UPDATE**** WOMEN

SHEPPARTON 2/1

the jones sisters, and a truck load of country cup experience should be enough to get the girls over the line

LATROBE VALLEY 3/1

will go close to pulling a back to back victory, i haven't seen these girls throw outside of moreoilwell, which tended me to lean towards shepp

ED FLEMMING 5/1

don't know the team, but i have to rate them

NARRE WARREN 10/1

beat morwell, but now we are playing for real

SUNRAYSIA 15/1

the Garoich family will have enough strength to run the girls midfield

WERRIBEE 20/1

can't be as bad as what i saw geelong bowl at ballarat to win the zone, Notman will be solid for the girls

GEELONG 50/1

average 150, expect to run down the lower order of the list, youth goes well, and the rest make up the team

WHOEVER ELSE MADE IT THROUGH THE DREAM ZONE 100/1

anyone who got beaten by geelong, can't rate that highly in my eyes

ALLSTARS

flynn
flynn
chandler
campbell
shelton
hogg
hayes

ALLSTARS GIRLS

jones
jones
garioch
garioch

i need more info to get more accurate results, so anyone that can tell me about the following teams, would be helping my cause greatly

wodonga men
narre warren men
mentone men

narre warren women
ed flemming women
and the other team that i have no idea about (warrnambool, colac or melton)

geelong this is a nice team but can u guy bowl at ballarat????

answer

well we saw what happened at ballarat, and it was ugly for ballarat

wheelbarrow wrote

We have a secret weapon

By the way don't keep Rhonda out too late

answer

we found out what the weapon was, and it involved using it on rhonda all night long

lance (expense) wrote

Yes Moorrolbark was very poor at Morwell last year

answer

correct

Seems Ballarat has proven over the past month ot two that they can throw a half decent condition...How long it will last is yet to be determined!
Absolutely no doubts about Geelong crushing the roll offs...
As long as theres a bit of juice and there holding down 10 board, u other boys may aswell join chucky and flynny at the golf house hotel over the road for a few wet ones and a counter meal!
Game Over? There will be no game!

answer

95% right, you left out the bit about me winning $150 during the lunch break at the golf house

but then after me assuming he was a genius he wrote

Ballarat side have the ability to shoot a mean 200 average on the day

answer

did anyone break 190?

then i wrote

Sale Cup getting 50 starters 200/1

answer

i was the 50th entry for sale cup, and wasn't that a waste of money

then when i thought i was going to be the only person with my foot in my mouth

lil macca wrote

there is no way they will get that many people bowling in it

answer

as above

without filling up a page i will finish a recap in the next few days

don't laugh too much guys    [/i]

Chucky,

I like those odds for Ed Fleming Women, especially as they did not make it through the zone final. It was Greensborough & Werribee.

Those of us in the know, know that it was a little closer than that. You dont sweep Geelong 7-0 and dont have them at least a little worried. Especially when there is oil holding on 10 board. Hence the 2-1 offered about Melton ;)

Hey Woza, I supplied Deano with his fishnet stockings and g string in morwell so if your in the hunt for some suitable attire just give me a hoy and I'll see what I can russle up :p :p

Don't forget to give me your size we want it to fit just perfect like deanos g string on his head it was a perfect fit don't know about the stockings I reckon they were tooooo small and I don't want to know what was done with them either! lol  8)

Well here is the Narre Team - I will tell the chaps they have earnt respect after last year.

Men (no particular order)
Geoff Van Damme
Paul Harding
Peter Maquanaiz (always spell that wrong)
Ray Wend
Steve Hogg
Tony Spano
Vaughnn Brooks

The team was disappointed in the zone, somebody forgot to ask for conditions down that could be scored on, so many pocket balls with splits or single pins!! Hoggy didn't bowl a 200 all day I don't believe.

I will get the womens team tonight and post it for you...
The women were sensationally loud at yelling all day, and this helped them win 9 out of 9 games.

Look forward to Geelong,

VB

well doesn't that just once again exploit me and my interest for what the girls have been up to, while i been at work

GREENSBOROUGH women

same odds as werribee, why who knows, but everyone wants to be rated

ED FLEMMING women

a gazillion - 1

TALK IT UP ADAM, TALK IT UP, you are the only people who have or will endure any pleasure against us, unless you classify a 6-1 loss as being enjoyable

A 6-1 loss is never enjoyable no....but it was nice to beat the mighty Geelong like we did, and it put us 8-6 up for the day. We may have lost to you guys by 4 pins overall (where it matters, at least in the final anyway) but in the all important head to head...Melton 8-6.

Go boys!

Thats 2 teams that we know can beat Geelong

Now we need the other 5 to stand up :x

Naree Warren Womens team - See Paige I did take notice better late than never - Thanks for the offer but I prefer to freeball

Lauren Stewar
Chris Padovan
Anne Wend
Melinda Ellis
Cathy Freeman :?
Kathy Scerri
Lorraine Carter

This is from the handout that we got last Sunday. If there are any changes I am sure Vaughn will post them.

Thanks Woza I'm impressed!! I'll train all of you guys yet!!

Freeball ..... :? Need we say more!!

I was going to get you a mini too I was thinking in PINK lol ....what do you think?

PINK mini - I'm not sure

But I sure could use a PINK cushion to save my pine pony a@#$

Boys and Girls - Craig don't forget the girls!!

A pink cushion I have one you know!! Pink doesn't really go with blue and yellow though!!

I'll even bring a pink and black hat too! lol :p

My apoligies

First I have to take notice of the women

Then I have to take notice of their scores

Then I have to learn how to spell their names

And all this from a guy who cant get the dates right
