Emerson Shield 2006

So Woza,

Are you going to pick up a ball and bowl for Morwell in the Final???
Would we expect the team lineup to change much, and will they get new shirts???

Morwell bowled at Sale with 1 vacancy if what I have been told is correct. This guy will be right for the finals.
We only get shirts if we make it to the finals so yes they will have new shirts

Yes Woza that was the case.

And yes he will be OK for the finals because there is no way the same thing can happen. ;)

Well done Narre!!!
Not a bad effort considering an average of 2 hours sleep the night before (after a heavy session of team bonding...)

2 hours!!!!! gee ur lucky if u got that!!! team bonding.... spose thats a diferent way of looking at the fact that everyone of our bowling decided to go out and get on it!!!! :p

OK Gary - Here are some stats for you - Narre men only so far.

Total Pinfall for - 8695 against 8393 (higher than any other team)

10 x 200's (every player bowled one, no other team had 7 players with 200's)

Will send through some more stuff in the next days....

On a serious note,
As I was one of of the ones that originally had a big sook
about the event being held on Sunday.
I would like to thank all the staff at Sale for their
promtness ensuring that we got away at a very
reasonable hour.
Ps. On a not so serious note
Congratulations to all the teams going to Werribee
& to all the teams that didn't make it, you should have
bowled better !!!! ;) ;) ;)

I find that hard to believe;)

WozaStevie was in good form on the endweek and good on you for that Stevie .
Would like to thank the staff at Sale for the Sunday was a good day but was a llllloooonnnggg day to.I think It would have been better if it had been over two days, as that way I would not have been so tired on Monday. But never mind .

Although I did think about a comment that was made to me about the lost art of bowling the outside line and yes it did show it yesterday.

To the person who made this comment to me on the weekend, I really focused on this last night. I generally bowl the outside line but sometimes will move in if I'm struggling.

Last night I stayed out all night. Results 172 201 203

:D

A pretty good spread of centres will be represented in the Final. 14 out of 18 centres will have either a Men's or Women's team. The four to miss out are Warrnambool, Rosebud, Horsham and Echuca.

MENS

Shepparton, Werribee, Mildura, Narre Warren, Bendigo, Melton, Colac, Wodonga, Sale and Morwell

WOMENS

Geelong, Werribee, Bendigo, Mildura, Ed Fleming, Ballarat, Narre Warren, Mentone, Shepparton and Colac.

Should make for a good final.
(6 centres have teams in both divisions.)

is that you attempt at naming them in finishing order gatsby???

if it is, your close to being on the money

If that was the case Colac Women would kill me!!

Nah - i just started with defending champs, then hosts and went from memory on the rest.

hence why i said close, theres no way shep men will go back to back, they are on the slide after losing the country cup that couldn't be lost

top 3 werribee - mildura - bendigo

all stars loader, porto, hayes, hammo and mc kinnon

Wow,

That is a big call!!!
We have seen several times that the best team on paper do not necessarily win.

There are a number of teams that, my good friend Steevie will be waiting to give a serve. For the top average at Sale (a tough 187.0), Steevie will be waiting for his next batch of victims....

Pity Craig won't be around, I am sure we could arrange a match up!!!
