SHEPPARTON 10/1
LATROBE VALLEY 12/1
information tells me rain is forecasted, and we know these horses don't run well on a wet tracks
Is that rain or oil - Obviously the local women didnt like the wet track either thats why we have to oil after every block;)

You must be taking the captains job seriously - now you are planning your attacks;)
I said i had plans -- i didn't say they were good ones!!

Of course i take the captains job seriously - it is my best chance of getting a game - at least with Emerson i know i am guaranteed to get half the games bowled.

You may well be suprised. I know some of the locals are;)

Its Suprising that the condition gets changed 7 days before a major Tournement Does'nt give the locals much of a head start on the rest of us

hey carmers now we know why you guys firmed up ;)

do the locals need a head start???

i think my guys are good enough off scratch

are your guys good enough on oil kevvy???

rumor has it locals practise on said condition then have it wiped of and now one else knows what is being laid down! and what is the go with not being able to bowl on the bye lanes!! they are assigned already so now we are supposed to have 27 people practising on 2 lanes, having trouble with 10 pins and a ball return go to lane 16, visa-versa with a 7 pin run down to lane 1, insane. As captians and managers stick together boys, i am sure there is more than just one that has this feeling.

This will most likly be a hot topic at the Managers/Captains meeting on Friday night.

Well said Captain - Going to be an interesting meeting Friday night. Surley common sense will prevail and the team that has the bye will have the opportunity to warm up on the allocated bye pair.

Odds mean very little once the first ball is bowled

Thats for sure. This time next weekend, we will be all waking up starting to preen ourselves for the day ahead. BRING IT ON.

"PREEN" What the hell are you talking about? :p

Were you a female in previous life or what? lol

Ok guys I need a bit of feedback, I have been thinking (scary I know) about taking team photos of you all. Is everybody happy to do the pose for me? I hope so cos I'm gonna make yas anyway!! ;)

Doesn't have to be the whole team (although that would be nice) we can do the men and women separately. And action shots. I'd love to grab some while people are warming up

Oh you'll be pleased to know last night I started preparing as DB promptly jumping up off my chair to grab Timmy his cans. I thought I had better get some experience for the big weekend. And as I have the best teacher in my corner (Sammy) I should be able to get some tips from her. Our team name on friday nights is DB's (thanks to Timmy). I'll get him back later!! lol ;)

Now all we need is a signal and we'll be all set!! lol

I've got the pink hairspray and I won't be afraid to use it lol :D

I guess that I may have been. You have to look good for these events. You cannot just rock up. I am booked in on Thursday to have the hair done. Might be able to squeeze in a treatment aswell. Lol.

Carmers - read back a few pages - Craig shortened your odds into 2/1

Paige no problems with the photos during practice but you may need to be careful as not everyone who bowls gets online to read this and many won't know what is going on. You may get some dirty looks from people when they see flashes going off.

I agree with the comments re practice for the teams playing the bye - they should be allowed 10 minutes before the end of the game, rather than fighting for spots on the practice lanes. If there is a good reason lets hear it.

Actually, i thought this may have been interest to Bendigo bowlers too. They actually have both byes straight after a break, and therefore straight after oiling. I would have thought they may have liked to practice as well?
