Counrty Cup 2005

lol yes the great one manages to share his birthday with national tenpin bowling day

and in both cases, they were forgotten :p :p :p

but better late than never

just another year older, senior shield soon

but not as soon as some hey

don't let out too much about me wearing a mini and bowling for you's

we don't want people jumping up and causing a fracca over my legs looking better than 3/4's of the field

Hey Chucky

Don't tell me that both you and Rob made the cut in minis  - 3 new bowlers in the team who's the third

Woza,
Our roll off is last weekend in Nov,Qualifying scores look good.
Number 7 ave 176,if i can carry there will be no stoping me.
I'm no 3 qual with 194 ave.
If these scores keep up Sale men may give a few teams a scare      :D :)

Good luck for the rest of the trials Grumpie

I think if the Sale men keep those scores up they may be scaring themselves

It is always good to bowl against quality opposition

You just maybe right there woza
I guess we see what ave we will need to get in the team in the final, hopefully it will stay up there.

Well this has rather gone quiet, it might be an opportune time for Mr Chandler to review his odds. Given the recent postings on another thread.

Might even stirr up some banter and challenges.

What do you say Chucky?

Paul Meyer

Whats the saying

Hard to soar like an eagle when you are flying with canaries

Dont worry Paul I am sure that the Chuckster will deliver the goods. You know that he cant resist a challenge.

It would be interesting to see who he ranks as favorite 4 months out.

I'll put my money on the werribee pacer team

He would have to put Sale as Favorite        8) 8) 8) :D :D :D :D

Nice try Grumpie

He might be shooting off at the mouth of late but I dont think he is a couple of cans short of a sixpack to pick Sale as favourites. (Although it could depend if you are there or not)

Look out my ego is starting to inflate :D :D :D

Yes I have to agree with you Woza, whilst I might not like some of Craig's on lane antics and carry on's, he does certainly call it as he see's it.

And without blowing wind up his proverbial, he does make some great suggestions and comments that other are not willing to make.

On the other hand hopefully Ballarat will rate a better mention in his odds. After bowling the last few years in C/Cup this is by far the best team we have since I've bowled.

Paul Meyer

Ballarat did alright last year

The only team to knock off both Geelong and Latrobe Valley
Just need to put the other 20 games together

ok numb nuts

***ODDS UPDATE***

werribee (evens)

you have voted us in, haven't you :?: :?: :?: :?:
or has fear got the better of everyone

latrobe valley (3/1)

defending champions have to rate respect, even if i think they are crap

ballarat (2/1)

my dark horse, enough shot to throw alot of strikes between these boys, strongest team they have fielded in a while

shepparton (6/1)

solid, solid, solid, solid, solid

colac (8/1)

in 3 words BILLING, THOMPSON, POYSER 650 off the tee every game

sunraysia (10/1)

like the wide open spaces of this paddock, with players like mc kinnon, mc kinnon, mc kinnon, garoich and martin, they will be strong.

bendigo (15/1)

in 2 words NO HOPE

geelong (50/1)

in 1 word C.A.N.A.R.I.E.S

there hopes will rely firmly on gordon robinson, and how well he can handle players hopping on his shoulders for a free ride to the finish line

everyone else (1000/1)

although

if albury merged with wodonga they could firm into 5/1

if sale merged with latrobe valley, well the latrobe line up would be the same, so why comment

if warrnambool merge with tasmania, they could be strong and would fly up the ratings to evens

other bets taken will be

dean mc kinnon to beat andrew craig by 100 pins (7,000,000/1)

andrew craig to beat dean mckinnon in both matches (2/1)

deano shifting himself away from andrew after the first defeat (evens)

chucky bowling (10,000,000/1)

chucky attending (100,000,000/1)

rhonda making a cameo (5/1)

deano taking her home for a 3some (10/1)

luke roberts throwing a 2 count to lose a point (4/1)

that'll do for now, be back in a week for an update
