Counrty Cup 2005

Purple Tweety said

Andrew put a tutu on at emerson but I didn't see it so we will have something better for him at country cup!!

Whats happened to the man in the pink tutu. Must have gone back into the closet.

Paige - You might have to knit him a red and white beanie so we can play
Wheres Carmers.

When do the new lanes go in down there at Geelong?

Will Geelong have an advantage over the rest of us being only the second country centre with synthetic lanes or will it help even the field???

Will be interesting I think!

Rob

We are also getting synthetics before christmas, lets see how much it helps us?! :? :?

Wheres Carmers? Can we give him the glasses too oh and the red and white stripey jumper? If you see Wally er I mean Carmers let us know!!

I think geelong will have a huge advantage and will have plenty of time to adjust. Most of their team know how to handle Synthetics most of the other country bowlers don't. ..............

Geelong would have to huge favourites even with Chucky not bowling.

don't be talking them up

they more they firm in favoritism, the less chance they have

they were dead certainties to win at country cup and emmerson shield and didn't

say they're crap, at least when they're angry, they'll be out to prove a point

why they ever trialled before synthetic was a dead set joke

Carmers is still here, so you can calm down Paige, take the medication, sit and relax, it will all be ok. Red and white striped jumper with a beanie to match sounds nice. Whats the thing that you are bringing to CC as you didn't see me in the tutu. I still have it by the way and am wearing it from time to time in the cafe, the patrons love it.

22 Lanes are now complete, fairly easy to score on too. Much fun to be had by all.

Country Cup Teams

Hey everyone,
This is Amanda from Geelong.
The women's country cup team is as follows:

KELLY KANTOR
COURTNEY MOURDOCH
AMANDA de LANGE
SUE JOBLING
WENDY THOMPSON
BERYL DANIELS
DEBBIE KING

A few changes, but that doesnt mean were not strong enough to compete and maybe even win.

See you all in Geelong in 2005

I'm calm now!! 8)

Hey Amanda how did the exams go?

Great to hear the lanes are nearly complete, we are looking forward to ours too!! They start early December.

Now Carmers, Kev will be glad to hear that you still have the tutu and that you are wearing it. Alot of people asked me that weekend what I had brought for you!! And after country cup they won't miss you with what I've got planned!!

Sale is in the middle of the roll offs at the time of this post. After day one the top 9 bowlers are in a very close tussle for the mens team, at this stage im in 7th and leading the field is Lyal Stanton averaging 226. high game of 278, again close in the ladies Liz with the high game there 255.
Yes these scores are from Sale.
I'll try to put the teams up tomorrow

Sydpies
You should be saying Geelong odds going out, most people that bowl on wood normally bowl higher on synthetic. Advantage all other centres        8) 8) 8) 8) :D :D :D :D

Here is the underdogs team,
Ladies
Sandra Howard (captain)
Belinda Howard
Sharon Cuthill
Liz Fabian-Czmok
Chamaine Smith
Emma Bell
Debbie Duncan

Men
Lyal Stanton (captain)
Mick Manners
Ross Manners
Alan J Manners
Peter Siddle
Mick Partridge
Gunther Czmok

Yes Woza i made it.

Two very capable teams and just might throw out a challage to several teams. Personaly I think we will finish mid field. May not be to supprised to finish higher. Remember the last time Sale won Country Cup was at Geelong in 1996 i think it was.

Craig how about some odds on Sale finishing in the top 6 Combined!!!
     :D :D :D :D

Paige Paige Paige.....

What is it that you have planned for CC? I dont recall making any bets by which I am going to have to wear something.....so whats with that?

Till next time, have fun yall. Lanes are almost complete. 2 to go, will be done tonight.

Yeah Carmers that's true but the tutu thing was last minute I ran out of time to finish what I had planned for emerson, I have all the pieces just have to put it together :D

I'm hoping you will want to wear it!! Its pink of course and it'll cover some of your legs and it sparkles in the light!! Do I have you intruiged? It's nothing too bad, I'm working in colaboration with Kevin so he'll make you wear it but I heard you'll do just about anything!! 8)

Country Cup

Hey Paige,
Exams went well, thanks for asking. I get my results on the 13th of December. I had my graduation last week so now i know i passed Year 12 and i can relax.

Talk to you soon.

Well Done Grumpie. Looking forward to it

Good to see that you guys are doing the same thing that New Zealand is in the cricket. The only good players in the NZ side are ex Aussies. I beleive that your Captain is an Ex Valley Boy.
Well done Lyal keep up the good bowling

I will stick my neck out for yous and say that you will be alot more competive than in the last few years. I have two questions though

1. Are you guys breeding Manners up there last time I was there there was only one
2. This question will be in everyones interest. Are we still going to have the OLE OLE OLE. It wont be quiet the same if we dont.

Hi all.

Had an experience of a life time last night.

The two great men drunk in my backyard.

"Chucky and Deano".

For Robs '40th' Birthday Party

What a laugh, while they reminisced about old times, and future events.

Deano was in fine form, reminding Chucky how many times he's kicked his a**. (Very Intoxicated, Very Loud, Very Annoying, Very Pig Headed)
Kept us up till 3.30am until i had to call his mate on my ph to pick him up, cause he never has any credit.

Chucky on the other hand can obviously hold his drinks much better than the year we nick named him. He pacified the big roo boy, probably because deano was so drunk...haha

Country Cup was even spoke about....hmm

A fun night, thanx chucky for making the long trip... toppped off Robs 1st full weekend off.

Not sure what we're going to spend the $10,000 scratchie on....

Happy Birthday Rob!! Gee only five years off seniors!!

Sounds like you guys all had a great weekend!!

You didn't get into trouble for being too loud? We all know that Deano gets even louder when hes drinking!! :D I suppose you can't get kicked out of your own backyard!
