Bowling Idols

I would have to say Norm Duke would be my Idol. I have several videos of him, and its great to see the variety of shots this man has.

In Australia, I would say Carl Bottomley, the man is awesome.

In terms of the PBA my idols are Norm Duke and Walter Ray Williams Jr.

Norm is the champion for all of us vertically challenged bowlers as well as being simply sensational (especially when he was with Hammer)

Walter Ray is simply the consumate professional, he determines what shot the lanes dictate needs to be played and then plays it with extreme skill.

As for Australia - I have bowled against Carl Bottomley since 1986 in President Shield and he is easily one of the most freakishly talented bowlers this Country has ever produced.

Ian Bradford - Australia's answer to Walter Ray

In recent times Belmo has shown that the bowling world is at his feet, and have no doubts that he will go onto greatness (possibly even PBA).

Cheers

If I had to pick anyone that inspires me in the game (there are a lot of greats out there) Id have to pick my grandfather, nearly 80 years old and still averaging in the 150s
