I wasnt bagging those bowlers at all. I was just saying a little hard work can go a long way, that is all i meant. If anyone puts there mind to it they can easily smash the patterns and be up there on the winners board.
Bullshit Bec, there are plenty of 190 ave bowlers that will never be on the top step of a podium no matter how hard they train.
Training hsrd equals results, you dont see people who dont train winning tournaments.
Correct, but some people will never win.
For example if Belmo or Sam or Mick didnt train as much as they did, they would be nowhere near where they are today.
It is disrespectful to use small leters at the beginning of someones name.
Australia were one of the only countries who didnt use the eight pin system and struggled to get entries into tournaments.
And will continue to struggle but time will show this.
Europe, america and asia have been doing it for years and get hundreds of bowlers for each tournament, so why wouldnt we use this system that seems to be working for everyone else with no complaints from the men?
I'm sure that no one overseas right now can hear me complain so why would we hear them?
If you get beaten by a female big deal!
This is THE biggest problem! Do you honestly think we give a shit about being beaten by a girl? You may find it hard to believe but people like Carlos and me are on your side, we know how good you are and respect that and that's why we think handicap for tournaments is rubbish. I've never stepped up to bowl against a woman and thought less of them for their gender, scores are what matter and you girls put plenty of them on the board that are higher than mine. The silent majority may wish to sit back and think that girls need handicap but I certainly don't, typical of this day and age where all I hear is "what about me, what can I have for nothing, what can I have because I'm a girl?" And don't get me started on fucking house patterns!
Maybe we need to use the system that is used at the victorian sports series, which is when a female wins one of the tournaments, their handicap gets dropped for 12 months?
