yea it is so BORING but think about it this way the second he loses it then he won't hopefully be in another title run for the wwe championship for a long time preheaps a few years or so i would say at a guess 5 years then he might get another crack at the wwe championship gold

Kurt Angle Still Planning To Do MMA; Wants To Fight Lesnar
FoxSports.com is currently running an article that features quotes from TNA Champion Kurt Angle. Angle, who attended last night’s International Fight League show last night, claimed that he would be working his first MMA fight with IFL. The current TNA Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist said that he is attempting to put together an MMA fight against former professional wrestler Brock Lesnar, despite the fact that Lesnar has signed with UFC (which is expected, but not confirmed).

Angle continued to put IFL over in the article and said that he would be able to work for the company while still fulfilling his responsibilities with TNA Wrestling. He said that he would need a year to train before fighting.

Jericho's WWE Return Date, Khali's New Handler, New WWE Site, More

The Great Khali's translator, Dave Kapoor, doesn't want to work a full road schedule for WWE so they're looking for as new handler for Khali. RAW referee Marty Elias used to travel with Khali all the time and help him out with some things, so he may be switched over to the SmackDown brand.

- WWE is working on a new subscription based website which may break sometime in 2008. No word on specific details yet, but they're planning on doing a lot of hiring in the next few months and the company has opened an office twenty miles north of Stamford, CT to focus on the new project, so their are big plans for the new venture.

- Chris Jericho still hasn't signed with WWE or TNA. The belief within WWE is that he will be back sometime in October. A lot of factors surrounding his return is said to depend on how his book sales do.

would be great to see jerhico returning to the wwe the 1st ever undisputed world champion in wwe history and if he comes back bring back the highlight reel

Jericho was one of the main reason's i got into wrestling. Everything he did seemed to be gold, whether it be on the mic as either a face or heel or in the ring against god knows who. As soon as he gets back (if he does) he needs to be thrown into a main event status, either in a feud with Orton, Edge or Umaga for that matter (just imagine that on the highlight reel)

The fact that Cena has been champ for so long isn't boring at all. It keeps fans guessing like the olden days when championship reigns lasted for years. I would't be surprised if Cena kept it until next years wrestlemania where he'd finally get beaten. Or we could see Jericho as the one to beat him for the belt, maybe at survivor series. Expect Cena to be champ for a while yet. If they wanted Orton to be the one to beat Cena, it would have happened at summerslam.

Triple H hasn't been Champion since 2004 (3 and a half years). He dominated the championship scene from 1999 to 2004. Same with Cena. He's been champ since 2005 with a couple of losses to edge, after he gets beat he might drop out of the championship scene for a year or so

how funny was the wedding on smackdown, i had a feeling something would go wrong. i think we might have a fued on with JBL and mysterio and finly. i can also see taker/batista Vs kahli/henry i look forward to that if it happens

Only goes for about 2mins... very worth checking out :D

While we are on youtube...I found this that apperantly aired after Coach had his segment on RAW ONLY in America. Many belive it's suppose to be a cryptic message of possibly the return of Y2J...The king of the world...Chris Jericho. Tell us what you guys think.

This is really similar to Ring Of Honor's "Project 161" storyline - this was like an invasion storyline with a group of either ROH wrestlers or guys from other indy feds coming in to take over the company. It was very well done that had the world guessing for months whether it was real or a hoax. Some thought it was a hoax and done by outside individuals - sometimes going as far to "target" the promoter's wife and children. It was very well done and drew so many current and new fans to ROH.

At this stage it is likely that jericho either has, or is in the process of signing with WWE and should make his re-debute at No Mercy.

Also worth noting is that WWE champion John Cena has a right pectorial injury. As it stands he will stay face Orton at No Mercy, but that may change depending on the annalysis...Guess this gives them a reason to finally hand over the title to...Y2J!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a wrestling god and i am not refering to JBL. Maybe, just maybe while Cena is away on rehab he can take a look at some wrestling 101 videos of past champions explaining the art of wrestling and how to perform it.

The guy has the entertainment side of things down pat in relation to mic skills but he still does not know how to wrestle, 1 move does not make you a wrestler. Go and learn your trade, come back with some wrestling and maybe you will be known as the complete wrestler not the entertainer that knows only smash mouth wrestling.

Thats my 20 cents worth

Michael Mclaren
tickets for short lol

Why should he change what has made him so successful? Kids and women love him, men and the so-called "internet smarks" hate him. Whichever way it is people have a vested interested in every John Cena match.

He arguably sells the most merchandise for WWE - why should he and the company risk affecting that?

I'm not a huge fan of Cena. Say what you will about him but you honestly cannot tell me you haven't been excited about a PPV main event (with the exception of the series against Khali) when Cena has his title on the line - you either want to see him retain it, or you want to see him be defeated and possibly have his head ripped off. You only need to hear the crowd during each of these matches to see the strength of the reaction he gets.

He's definitely improved so much this year. If you did a list of the top 10 matches from this year, Cena would be in at least 5 of them.
- vs Umaga - Royal Rumble, Last Man Standing
- vs Shawn Michaels, Wrestlemania 23
- vs Shawn Michaels, Monday Night Raw (their 60min epic)
- vs Bobby Lashley, Great American Bash
- vs Randy Orton, Summerslam (My choice for Match of the Year)

All these are 4+ star matches - he helped carry Lashley to the greatest match of his career. The one against Orton it looked like Randy was trying to take Cenas head off with each headlock and the crowd was deafening.

Its a positive that the title reign is over, and we do get new life injected back into the WWE, but an injury like this isn't how a 13 month reign should end - after No Mercy there was supposed to be Orton v Cena IV but this time it'd be Hell in a Cell - now we won't get to see that.

sucks that cena is injured.. after 13 month reign it shouldnt finish like this.. it sucks that we dont get to see the hell in the cell match against cena and orton
