Gary................................................
Ps too self back this Bloody Dog E/Way.................

Great run by the little bitch and had she got a run thru on the inside of the Yellow dog could have finished closer, the favourite Blue dog flew home to take 2nd place away from tiny. Yet it was a great run and won a few dollars on the race, had her each way and she paid $3.10 for the place, had the duet a few times and that paid $7.90 per unit and the Trifecta paid $247.00 which was fantastic.Hopefully my increased bank will give us some dollars to play with on Wednesday at Sandown. Go Tiny...go Tiny......Oh by the Liz we are not picking on you but just letting people know how loud and excited you get when Tiny gets near the finish line........... Foxtel have installed sound proof booths for their announcers.......hehehe:rolleyes:

Well yesterday was the quites I ever heard Liz, our poor little bitch (the dog-not Liz) just did not handle the Red box at all. But I am sure that she will learn from the experience of running in town and will do much better next time. Still can not believe that she started favourite.......

I had $10 each way on strike alot for the sunday race , was quite pleased at 3rd got my money back! first time I have ever bet on a dog.)

After she got boxed in she just couldn't find a way out due to lack of experiance. Strike Alot is running at Sale on Tuesday Race 5 Box 5 , has a place chance. has one dog in the race that has beaten her in the two starts that they have met. Box 4;) ;) But anything can happen.

To those of you who have been asking about the welfare of Strike Alot, I can tell you that she is relatively OK. She was cleared after the race by the vet for no major injuries. However, she is one very sore girl today. :(

She will not be running on Sunday as originally planned, as the trainer wants to give her extra time to recover. She will hopefully run on Monday at Sale instead (yes they are having a meet on Monday) but there is a big chance that she won't get a start.

I'm just hoping that yesterday's nasty incident hasn't spooked her to the point where she decides she doesn't want to race anymore.

Liz

Strike Alot will be running on Monday 20th Race 8 No 4 right next door to the dog who caused all the problems in her last start so lets hope for no repeat of that race. She is in a mixed race for grade 4 & 5 dogs. A step up for her so lets just see how she runs against some better quality dogs, hopefully she will do well.

Some people have been asking us about the dog we have coming up soon to race, as it is not part of the Tenpin Tails Syndicate we have not posted anything on this thread but due to being harrased by certain people i will reveal that it should be racing in about 6-8 weeks and to give a little back ground on him. Name....Spirit Assassin
Mum......Kilmany Spirit (same as Strike Alot)
Dad.......Awesome Assassin

Hopefully very soon Tenpin Tails may have an addition too, finding the right dog at the right price with the right breeding is the hardest part, Strike Alot is a big part of it also so a few more placing (better yet a couple more wins) and we should be on our way. Strike Alot will allways be our favourite little bitch and we also hope to get a litter or two out of her to expand our portfolio, hopefully we dont run out of bowling terms once we have a few running around the tracks. Would be great to get a group 1 winner within the next year or two;) ;) .

Strike Alot in the squeeze box got.................squeezed:( Oh well.
But i do want to thank Strike Alot if she was not running would not have got the Quad;)

Gary..........................................

Where is my % of the Quaddie!!!!!!!!!!!
I got 3 legs but missed the 3rd leg (no 2 ) was a nasty race.
Strike Alot is racing at Sale Sunday Race 10 No 3 . It's been a while since she raced the 440 mtr, but i do give her a bit of a chance in this one and hopefully go onto the final next week. A couple of dogs to watch out for in the race are the 1 & 7 dogs but with a clean run she may just get there.:p
We can only hope;)

After a very nice third at Warragul last night we go back to Sale on Sunday we hope she performs just as well;) ;)

Bloody Dog lost my money................. Good third though:confused:

Gary............................................................

It's of to Sale on Sunday she is in race 8 box 1.
She must be due for a good performance and with the dog in box 2 that likes to run wide it my be our lucky day. I certainly hope so.;) ;) :D

Hmmm good box and started fav and did not run a place go figure .Oh well there is always next race.

Anybody want to buy a dog??

We are going to try to run at her Traralgon on Friday in "Free For All'. If she loses twice she will go back to a Grade 5 dog there and then maybe she can earn some money.

Otherwise we could look at breeding - or does anybody want to buy a dog??

It was good to see a couple of her fans from Morwell at the track last night. One little fan even got to pat her. I think Strike Alot got excited as she finally found somebody her size. ;)

Strike Alot is at Traralgon on Friday Race 6 No 4. Probobly a hard race for her to win but she needs to do something soon or she will be rested for a few weeks and see if she cane start up fresh again.
Just had a look at the form guide and was very supprised to see that she lost last weeks race by 6 lenghts but the two checks she got according to the judges cost her 11 lenghts which going by this if she didnt get checked she would have won the race by 5 lenghts.
go figure????
By the way if anyone is interested in getting involved in greyhound racing there is a syndicate starting at Sale Greyhound racing club, the basis is the syndicate has 5 dogs some ready to race and others ready in a month or two. There will be 100 shares @ $100 per share per year (maximum one person can buy is 5 shares) no trainers fees and I would have to check about vet fees. These dogs are to run in the Gippsland area to entice people to the tracks.
They are hoping that the share returns could be around 50% per year ( eg $100 layout for a $150 return in one year) but that does depend on how they perform and if you own shares you have 1st pref on wether you continue the following year.
I am not involved with the running of this but to me it sounds like a lot of people could have a lot of fun with this and i may even buy a couple of shares:D . If anybody is interested let me know and i will pass on the info to the right people.

This week after a very good perfomance at Traralgon she is back there against quite a stronge field. On paper the best she could do is 5th so this calls for some good odds so lets hope she runs a place and we could make some good money:D . She has box 8 so she has a chance of a good start.
Lets hope for some very happy bowling :drinking: after the races;)
