Tenpin Tails Syndicate

Oh Liz when you told me that you were old enough NOW to bowl in the Seniors,I did not think that you meant bowling with the ladies in white Long Skirts, but obviously it has tickled your fancy and we will be looking on th ABC TV for your moment of Glory........:D :D

As Liz siad earlier Strike Alot has a start this sunday, unfortunatly there is a lot of dogs from NSW down due to Sale Cup trials so trainers have brought other dogs down to give them a run so form is a bit unkown. I have had a look at the fields and the dogs i do know she should beat but it's the 4 NSW dogs in her race that worry me. Two of them seem to have a bit of form so i'm hoping that a strange track and a long travel may give us a chance, here's hoping.:p ;)

Woza how about coming down for a Xmas drink, or anyone else that wishes to come down to our great race track and watch some top dogs perform.
Brilliant Lee is in one of the heats for Sale cup,now this dog holds the 440mtr record here by a long way and a lot of other talented dogs running could be a great night, especialy if strike alot could manage a win for us in the first race:rolleyes:

Gunther

at $39.70 for a win and $3.80 for a place will make a nice Xmas present if she were to romp home.

Please stop putting money on her, she's down to $11.20 win $3.70 place.
I'm greedy I want good odds for myself.;) ;) :p

Well done Strike Alot for a great second place paying $3.20. Not one of the NSW dogs placed, and the favourite was also beaten out of place.

We forgot to back it, but hopefully will remember to next time. (Unlike Mr Zanoni, I always put on an eachway bet, never on the nose.... lol )

Well done Liz and Gunther, here's to many more top three finishes...

Thanks Jane
Yes it was a great 2nd by our litte girl after getting checked just after the start, I put my hand over my face and said here we go again, but she came home very well in the fastest 440 race for the night.
It looks like another start for her on Sale Cup day. Which is on Boxing Day and I hope she gets a good draw.

Great 2nd and backed her for a place and also had the quinella for $5.00 so had a reasonable collect.I should be there on Boxing Day to further increase my bank balance. I am Glad that Ralph and Jane forgot (how could you) to put a bet on the young lass, this obviously allowed her to pay so well on the tote. I can tell you when Grumpie rang me last night that he was really excited and jumping out of his skin. See Liz there is still life in the old boy....

Strike Alot has a start on Boxing Day , looks like not a bad field. I think she will do well but she has a Serious challange to beat her , this dog (Serious) has had 9 starts for 5 wins & 3 other placings and may be very hard to beat, so all we can hope for is a good run and some luck on our side for a change and she may even win.:crazyeye: so here,s hoping , it would be a great Xmas if she did. :x-mas: :-({|=

Strike Alot has an empty box beside her with the scratching of no7, which could very possibly help her having an empty box beside her. Serious still seems to be the dog to beat but i recon she has a great chance of running a placing. After all is said it comes down to how the race is run, so lets just hope she gets a clear run and then she will get a placing for us. ;) :-({|= .
By the way she is in race 11 no 6 at 10:42 pm ( way past my bed time but we will be there)

Well i must stop giving her a great wrap up because every time i do she fails.
She did jump well and was second just before the first turn then it all happened, she got checked then got turned sideways and got kicked in the ribbs and after all that she still didn't finish last:p so now we try again next week and hope for a new years present.

Money safely in my pocket last few race's when will i unload it all ?
May be never again maybe next race ......................

Gary............................

Gary
You should have backed her last week, she ran 2nd and paid $3.20.
Great pay out for a place;) ;) :p

Strike Alot has a start on Sunday 1st in race 10 No 8 at Sale. This is the first time she has drawn box 8 which we beleive will help her cause. Possibly even give her a clear run, she does have a tendency to run straight out of the box so there will be no dog on the outside of her turning left. We are hoping for a new years present.
Would love to see some of you who follow her down the the track one day i may even let the moths out of my wallet and buy you a drink.:drinking: :silly:

Hold on she ran the other day started 33 to 1 ( box 6 ) and ran were?
33-1 mean's she is a sorry aaaaaaaaaaaaa dog;)
Keeping money in pocket lol..

Gary..................................

Gary she ran 6th but you would have had to see the race to see what happened , ask joe;) he had a couple of bob on her. As for 33-1 well when she was 36-1 she was third fovourite,(if i remember the fovourite paid $1.20 win and $1.04 a place) I just hope she pays odds like that when she does break through for another win, I'd be a very \\:D/ happy person but in the mean time a placing is good enough for me. If she places once a month she pays her way but lookout she will win soon so dont miss out when she does. After all this is about having fun. Sunday could be the day but i keep saying that anyway. :)

I just provide the stats....You make the decision whether or not to place a bet based on the record.

6 payouts from 16 starts better then 1-3 payout, not bad for a little bitch, and most of her place dividends were $4.00 plus which is great return. Especially if you are backing her for a place. I am well up and hope to increase my bank balance Sunday night. Most of my friends have a couple of dollars each way and have had some good fun. Stats are only as good as what you want from them.

I did say in an earlier post that we have no grand illusions about our dog. We are just out there to have some fun and that is exactly what we do. We always have a group down at the track. It's really great as we have a relaxing time and quite a few laughs. What more could you ask for.

On top of that, we also promote our beloved sport of tenpin bowling at the same time. To top it off, what started out to be some fun has also earnt Sale a fair bit of sponsorship money from Sale Greyhounds for Sale Tenpin Cup, the Country Cup, Senior Shield and Junior teams. So the way I look at it, a lot of people have benefitted from Strike Alot.

She will be 2 years old on the 7th of this month which means that she is still much younger then the majority of her opponents however she is a small dog which means she will get more than her fair amount of knocks whilst racing.

Liz :) :)
