Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you all know that the Melbourne Cup is on this weekend at Ed Fleming Lanes. We have 5 NZ bowlers competing this year - Jason Waters & Craig Nevatt from Auckland and Kurt Sturgess, Graham Dyer and Jon Matthews from Christchurch. Good luck and best wishes to you all.

Unfortunately it appears that Live Scoring will not be available from this tournament this year, but never mind. I'm sure our guys will do us proud. I wish I was there as well, but circumstances conspired to prevent me from going this year - hopefully I'll be there next year.

Just a minor update, I have been informed that live scores ARE available, from the Ed Fleming Lanes website, just click on the links at the bottom of the front page.

Kurt Sturgess has made a bright start, shooting 1669 for his first 8 games, a 208 average. This included a 266 game, well done.
