well done to our sister jess for bowling for Albury and for the high game! mum kept us updated all weekend since we couldnt be there! you bowled well and a great high game still havent beaten ours yet but we're sure you will get there!
Now that you showed us you can bowl that 170 ave go back home and keep it up its amazing what you can do when you keep that smile on your face and put your mind to it! better yet just move to Albury since you've bowled for them twice now! haha its like a second home for you im sure mum wont mind moving!
someone has to keep the arnolds in it since we dont bowl anymore and sadly were just too old!!! watch out tho Tennielle will be catchin up soon

Congratulations to my Warrnambool team, Jarrad and I were very proud of you. You all did a great job and well done with a silver medal 2nd year running.
We didn't win but we did have the only 800 series for the weekend. Top job.

Wow what a fantastic weekend.
Firstly congratulaitons to Latrobe who were the stand out team on the weekend. You guys deserved the win as your domination continued over the three days and even into the raffle!! Go Alicia.
Well done also to Warrnambool, who bowled some fantastic matches. They beat our Shepp 'A' team in the second round with some fantastic scores. Our team had a 790 or so.
To Shepp 'A' and 'B' or as I liked to call them Shepp Pink and Shepp Black. You kids were fantastic, your ability to bond as a team, especially the Black team who only had one bowler who has bowled anything like this before, was amazing. Your sportsmanship towards each other was a credit to you. I'm sooooo proud of each and every one of you. To finish 3rd and 4th is a truly great effort and you should all be very proud of yourselves.
To all the other teams, I hope you all had a great weekend in our city, and didn't get any parking fines on the Monday!! It was a pleasure to see so many keen and enthusiastic juniors from all around the state. There is a lot of ability among you all. Well Done!!

Also Congratulations to the 4 country bowlers that have made the transition to National events, members of the 2008 Preidents Shield Victorian Team: Jess Garioch (Sunraysia), Matt Chettleburgh (Albury), Daniel Peterson (Geelong), and although she was absent this yr, Laura Kairn (Bendigo).
As Paige said so much potential forming in the Victorian country!
I would have loved to bowl again but alas, we all get old!
It was a pleasure to once again be a part of this great tournament and I would like to thank all that were involved in making the weekend great and enjoyable!
