Country Cup 2006

I'll go $100 to have another chance to bowl with him maybe in a winning team

Craig ur reply didn't disappoint one bit. You may not be bowling in Country Cup 2006, but believe me, ur presence will definitely be felt, most certainly among the Geelong people.

There once was a bowler called Kevin
Whose ultimate view of heaven
Was one week of sin
After a Country Cup win
He's hoping it will be 06 or 07?

(sorry Kev could not resist -- esp after your fine piece of rhyme)

I tell you what Gatsby you are a bloke of many talents

A week of sin, my better half's gunna love that...lol

I couldn't think of anything else on the spot to rhyme with Country Cup win....
I have since thought about it and should have gone with

There once was a bowler called Kevin
Whose ultimate view of heaven
is a week on the p*ss
after winning Country Cup - what bliss
He's hoping it will be in 06 or 07?

PS - Nothing to say that the week of sin can't include the better half?

Then there's this guy they call Carmers
His hair's got more going on than the Bahamas
He's designing a mascot outfit for Paige
I hear that pink's all the rage
It could end up being bright pink pyjamas.....

Bravo

Encore

Encore!! lol

Thats some funny stuff there Gary.

Even though if you pronounce my name correctly it doesn't rhyme with rage, but thats just minor detail!!

I did not know that - how is it pronounced-- what does it rhyme with?

Sorry for the late reply, hav been busy bowling with one of the best "TEAM" of women in this Country. (had to throw that in :) )

RE: All Stars...

It is nice to be recognised for bowling well...

But to hav that trophy just once, i would gladly give up everyone of my All Stars medals.

As most of you saw last year it was heart breaking and bought me and a few of our team to tears. (and a few in the crowd as well :( )

To every team that has had that pleasure of winning that trophy... you're all 'All Stars' in my eyes.

Bring it on in Bendigo.

it rhymes with beige, change the b to a p and its Paige.

It is french and has an accent over the e which gives it the difference between page and Paige.

Theres your pronounciation lesson, everyone practise and we'll see how you all go at emerson or c/cup!! lol

Gatsby I think you have quite a talent there. You are definitely right about Carmers' hair. Keep those ditties coming Gatsby.

How about one for Woza

Woza's from Latrobe Valley, (I think!)
His bowling armour has only one chink
This happens when
He leaves the 5-7-10
It's enough to lead Woza to drink
