Haha yeah i must say i wouldn't complain if someone gave me an American V8, that's for sure!

Respect to Murphy, the only Holden to keep himself off the scrapheap. Top effort to have 6 Fords in the top 7, just missing that all important position 1! Glenn Seton's engine was remarkably like mine: just keep filling it with oil and hope for the best!

Biggest sympathy goes to the roo that met it's match against Jim Richards in the Castrol Commodore. That was some disturbing vision :shock:

God made S**T and holden made it move??? i think you forgot the bit about FORD put wheels on it but were to stupid to make it move so holden had to help :wink: after which holden sold ford the "S**T-on-wheels-mobile" and they are still producing them to this very day
 
I rekon Holden will win Bathurst this year. Although Ford will make a majority showing in the top 10. Just my predictions!
On a serious note. Did anyone actually sit there and watch all 161 laps?? I get bored after the first corner.

Your making predictions after the race is over? :? oh well, to answer your question i personaly dont watch all 161 laps its on most tv's in the house i just watch bits here and there as i do other stuff.

Any one see the kangaroo get hit?
 
I sat and enjoyed every one of the 161 laps, it was fantastic! But i do that every year, so its no problem. That was some real disturbing vision of the kangaroo though. To be hit at that speed...! I'm sure Channel 10 regreted it the moment they showed that vision, bathurst being a family show and all.
 
If there was a whole lotta blood guts gore n more when the poor Roo got hit then yes, definatly a rotten.com thing.
Rowey, God never yelled "Big Mistake" when Ford was created...he just stared at it with beauty in his eyes...btw...who hit the kangaroo :? ??
 
mmm if anyone is up to it, could someone try and find a video of the roo getting hit. if u do put it up here so the ones who missed it (ie. me) could c!

It was the Perkins Racing entry of Steve & Jim Richards that decided to make Skippy's day! :lol:
:twisted: I think they decided to hit Skip cause he had a big blue oval painted on his side! :twisted: Could have been worse, could have been Dick Johnson hitting a roo instead of a rock all those years ago!
Wasnt that disturbing, has anyone driven up the Hume Hwy of late and seen the roos on the side of the road after they have played chicken with a semi!? Makes u wonder that if it keeps happening, Skippy could be on the endangered species list.....
 
Yeah, roos on the side of the road is one thing, but seeing one fly after getting hit at 170kmh? I find THAT disturbing!
