First 2 x 290 were 9/ XXXXXXXXXXX

Last one was XXXXXXXXXXX- as I was playing 2 board and ...... well I missed by 2 boards.

The 296's, 297's and 2 of the 298s were all light hits. Too much adrenaline. 1 x 298 was a 6-8 leave from inside 4th arrow (yes some lefties CAN play in there) and one was a fast 8

299's were 2 x 7 pin 1 x 6 pin and 1 x cold as a maggot 9 pin

I havent posted a 300 yet (best 269 /XXXXXXX/XXX) but then no one has in my centre yet and i started there in '87 so maybe its the lanes not me hehehe...am hoping it is... otherwise i just suck hehe.

I'll never forget it, even though I hardly remember it. (It was too exciting!) It was 1987 and I was 20 years young. That means I had been bowling for 6 years in league and tournaments. I threw every ball in the hole bar the 11th, which tripped the 4 into the 9 pin. (Got soft...) Number 12 was dead flush and people tell me I did a cartwheel or a back flip afterwards (depending on who you talk to). I favour the cartwheel story, as that's about the limit of my gymnastic ability. My high score before was probably 290. Back in those days, everyone went out for a drink with you after a 300!

I bowled about four more after that and am looking forward to my first with reactive resin now I'm bowling again. Had one in practice recently, but they don't count.

High game before that was 299, and had a 298 as well.

1. I was 18 when I bowled my first 300. The date was 29/07/06.

2. My highest game before my first 300 was 299 on two different occasions. First 299 was a 6 pin and the second was a 10 pin.

3. I had been bowling since I was 2 but had been bowling league since I was 11.

And I've bowled 1 300 since my first 300 and that came 2 days after my first on 31/07/06.

I enjoyed my 299 against you in perth Rob, Mind you that was after my 290 (gutter / bagg out) against "What was his name from singapore" I forgot. Getting too old.

my highest before that was a 277 which i bowled at 14

1. I was 18. First 300 in December 05 in Tuesday Tri Star Doubles league at Newcastle Superstrike. Rolled my second one mid-August this year in the TPA. Both approved & sanctioned.
2. 286 previous High Score.
3. I'd only been bowling seriously around three years before I rolled my first.

Just out of curiousity I just have a couple of questions for those people lucky (and skillful) enough to have bowled the perfect game.
1. How old were you when you bowled you first 300?
2. Before your 300, what was your highest score? and
3. How long had you been bowling before your first 300? (In leagues etc, not counting bumper bowling parties as a kid!!!)

When l bowled my first 300 on the 11/2/05 l was 26

Before that it was 277

Been bowling 14 years. Started when l was 12.

Since the 300 l bowled 290 back in march this year.

Just thought I'd let y'all know that I'm damned lucky to get 200 never mind 300.

My high game is 219.
