Well done to all.

Just a comment regarding the trials. The entry form stated that the lanes would be dressed after 4 and 3 games on each day at lunch time (i.e. half the games for the day), but it was changed for sunday, which was a bit unfair to the bowlers' who like a bit of oil. Also why wasn't the trial run in the same fashion as the actual event? Head to head plus handicap would have sorted the men from the boys (and women from Girls!!) and made it more interesting. For the men we were only fighting for 6 places as Roger was almost guaranteed a spot due to his high handicap (good luck to him as I know he has had to adapt to bowling with the 'wrong' hand), but he still had to make his average.

David, I seem to remember we voted on the lunch break and oiling on the Sunday prior to bowling? Thought you were there and voted for it! Maybe wrong though, but only about you voting. Also, we did have handicap, maybe bit head to head. Don't think it would have made much if a difference to the results.

Now what dose that mean:confused:

I also heard you ( wdv bowler's ) had a vote ( not sure which way you voted wating on an e-mail ) never look's good when some who misses out then complain's....

Ps: Heard it was a flood of oil that's why you guy's & gal's voted!
