Adrian - I hear that. My Linds are at least 15 years old. Just bought a new pair.... they are NOT the same shoe, they just pretend to be. I just hope they break in O.K.

Had Dexter SST-IV's for a few years (and they were great) but the right foot toe wore out and the left slide shoe velcro wore out so I had to superglue my favourite interchangable sole on. Recently replaced them with Dynothane/ABS Tour Deluxe's... they are super comfy, extremely "tunable" and replacable toe caps means I shouldn't have to buy another pair for many, many years (hopefully).

I had Linds, but now I have just bought Dexter SST7 SE. They are very very comfortable and have plenty of room to move. They come with a wide range of soles and heels so you can adjust with ease.

I'd highly recommend them, but they are relatively expensive - well worth it though.

I've got brunswicks (they look 99% like the black sst6LX's... yeah those ones) & my right foot sole has separated its self from my shoe. (don't worry, it's because of the way I bowl, not poor quality) I was told that dexter or not, it would make no difference because the shoes are made in the same factory...? Not sure whether this is true though. Anyways. I do want to try Dynothane, I've heard a lot of excellent feed back about them, & I'm intrigued to see how long they last with the block around the toe on my right foot.

Good old Colarado Blue leather clubbing shoes with a full slippery leather sole!
Had them about 8 years and repaired them 3-4 times but they are just so damn cumfy, and gives me a full sole to slide on coz I slide with my foot fully flat! Wierd Huh
