What about the oldies Werribee Cup

Theres lots of talk about the Youth Werribee Cup, whats the latest on the Werribee Cup for us oldies?
I haven't seen an entry form yet, is it still on?

The Werribee Cup adult tournament entry forms went out to all centres on Friday. Hopefully your centre managers will have them out today.
I'm currently waiting for the electronic version to post at Totalbowling and the VTBA site.

Format is as per last year with $750 first prize, and $100 entry fee. 1 day event.

What sort of numbers did you get for last years event?
Can we expect the same sort of turn out?

I didnt bowl last year but I will be there this year.

from memory.... we had approx 56 in the adult section and 44 in the junior section. It was a great turn out considering we weren't the first centre bowlers thought of for tournaments. I would like to think we get more this year.

What time is the event envisaged to finish on Sunday? I'm guessing around 5pm give or take 1/2 an hour.

George it won't matter what time because with your prize money you could buy a new ticket on any flight if you miss your booked flight

And Good luck to all who go to Werribee on the 16th. Time for the Vics to get one back...I hope

94... thats a great effort. You dont find many tournys with those sort of numbers. I assume some of the majors ie AO, SPC etc would get these sort of entries but does anyone know the last time a tourny like the one on this weekend at Werribee had 100+ entries?
