WARNING to anyone wanting to bowl ECCC

I'd like to request that this thread be moved to the QLD forum as this is a isolated state based related issue that has nothing to do with the ECCC itself and so this event should not be slandered on a national open forum because of it. I have been involved with the event for more than 20 years and know that it does not deserve this negative publicity in the slightest.

Any chance of the move Jase!

There has been a lot of twoing and froing about who said or did this and that. However let someone who has made the mistake of being too impulsive to post on this forum before lend a little friendly advice.

This is not the right place to air grievances or complain about what is right or wrong especially when it comes to financial penalties or attacks against person or entity.

The only thing I have agreed with that has been posted is the right to have grievances heard in a formal process where all parties get to put forward their points of view.

Now from what I saw like mself you chose to forgoe this process like unfortunately a lot of posters to these forums do instead of contacting TQI for a please explain like we normally would do if we get a fine or letter from a utilility company.

Emotions get the better of us sometimes so hopefully this situation can be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties and we don't lose people from the extended ECCC family.

Queensland business?
Seeing that most of the criticism of the Queensland Rachuig processes this year came from Interstate do you seriously think a move to the Qld forum would make any difference?

Jase thanks for catering to my request.

Andrew yes I believe it does make a difference as each state deals with the ECCC in their own way. Thus just because this particular issue exists at present in QLD reflects little on what happens in both NSW and VIC the other two states involved in the ECCC.

The problem with bowling these days is that there are too many people involved in events or associations because they want to mould them into what they see is the right way for them to run. And yes at times we are all guilty of it.

At this moment in time bowling needs people who are selfless in the way they both promote and direct our sport. It needs to have a solid and uncompromised framework to be setup that can be used by subsequent people to build it back into what our generation remember it to be and for it to achieve its full poential going forward.
