Two-handed bowling is all the rage!!!

Unfortunately I have seen a person bowl Two Handed in 1969, before Belmo was Born. Lindsay Sheehan used to bowl that way in practise, this was in the days when covering a lot of boards was not beneficial to scoring.

Lindsay was the only bowler I have ever seen, not bowl for years and could make a return in a Daybreaker, than proceed to average over 200 with a Conventional Drilled Ball. This was in the early 70's, even the Great Joe Velo in the early 70's only averaged 204 to win the SPC in the same Centre at Enfield ( this was the place to bowl Daybreakers, run by the late Bing Dallas). I think Lindsay also was runner up to Batson in the Australian Junior Masters when they were both Juniors, I'm sure Batson was a couple of years older as well.

He recently worked at Enfield again in the early 2000's, he gave bowling away in the early 80's, what a waste! He never bowled in anything more than Daybreakers as an Adult.

Btw, Lindsay if you are ever reading this, that Ironing Board you gave me in 1981 broke last year, just so you know, while I'm at it Steve Mackie if your reading this, that Bar Fridge you sold me in 1990 is still running fine.

:p Well willey do i have some news for you...
if you make a trip out to star bowling here in Griffith, not only will you find Lindsay hiding out the back fixing our machines, or oiling our lanes, but bowling in our local leagues, with an ave of 196-207. You will also find Lindsay in Canberra at the Southwest Country Challenge, having qualified 2nd highest for our men's team with a 207.2 average!!!
I'll pass on your message about the ironing board to him at our southwest meeting in the morning :wave::thumbup:

That would be great KitKat, thanks, I visited Enfield a couple of years ago but he had left again.

Griffith, I got asked to Manage the first Griffith Bowl in the 80's but I told them the population was not high enough for a Centre than. It ended up closing I was proved right. Hope the Centre is running well.

If you see him tell him Frank Williams says hello. We worked together at Hornsby in the early 70's than Astro Lanes Campbelltown in the late 70's, than Liverpool Bowl in the early 80's.
