No I havent take the title away... Still NRL im talking about isnt it... And if you read you will see that Deadman, Dragon, Double_D and myself were talking about the Dragons and Broncos... We didnt forget about any team!

Oh that’s right, didn’t realise that the For in Forum meant that only 4 peoples comments mattered.

I think some Saint’s supporters need to lighten up a little. Anyone would think they are dead set certainties to win the title.

God knows they don’t deserve too.

I am with you Cam how does 2 teams in the top 4 have to play of and two in the bottom 4 play off for the right to challenge for a GF spot. Makes no sense to me.

u get a winner a runner up, a 3rd, 4th and 5th

It rewards 1 - 3 with a second bite of the cherry and 4 and 5 face sudden death to win the comp.

However a top 5 on has 6 games over 4 weekends
where as the current top 8 has 9 games over 4 weekends
thats 3 more lots of gate takings and tv ratings for Channel 9 and the NRL

like it or not since super league the game is owned by News Ltd and decsions are made to benefit them and Channel 9.

You guys have the wrong end of the stick... I didnt say we only mattered at all... We didnt forget about the storm we simply were only talkin about them 2 teams... And at nowhere I said the Dragons were going to beat Melbourne or even to make it to the grandfinal for that matter...

I didnt say anyone couldnt have there say... You asked if we have forgotten about the Storm I said no... Wherever you came up with this idea about no posting and having rights is just another point to make it look worst... Think about it and get over it... I dont care!

If you don't need to think about nothing then you must need to think about something... As I believe it, after their last 2 performances, the Dragons have replaced Melbourne as favourites to win the premiership this year...
And jase, it's not only Saints supporters that need to lighten up, a few of the brisbane supporters around here need to lighten up as well, I think you will find reading back over the last few pages, even right back to the very start that they seem to be of the opinion that Brisbane are certainties to win, or at least thats the way it comes across.
And also, the way the draw is done so that they get which teams get a shot at the premiership, is, in a way, similar to a masters tournament in bowling. The teams who made the 8 were good enough to finish in the 8, the same way everyone who qualifies for masters was good enough to qualify. And just the same way that those that qualify for masters, even the bottom qualifier has the chance to come out a winner at the end, the team that finishes in the number 8 spot on the ladder has every chance of winning the premiership...

Either way I got my ticket to the Grand Final so I'll take my chances. I'm actually a Cowboys fan and im only supporting the "donkeys" because A) I'm a Queenslander and im loyal to all Queensland teams, B) I own a Broncos jersey and that would be my choice of clothing to the Grand Final and C) I hate the Dragons and the Bulldogs with a passion.

ps better mention the STORM...Melbourne Storm that is, id like to think they're a good chance making the GF because the whole club is carried by Queenslanders. Crocker, Slater, Inglis, Cam Smith. You know its true, Matt king? Whos he??
