We should be fine. Its expected that teams will falter some stage during the season... ours just happened to be against Scamchester United and not someone like Middlesbrough or Blackburn!!

Ok, Explain... How exactly are we Scamchester United? We took Makelele out of play? Was that it? maybe we actually defended well, FERDINAND actually made a credible performance. Mayeb it was that we scored, and you didn't? Or maybe we destroyed another unbeaten run?
I'm just praying, that for once, we can continue a run of form for more then2 weeks. Our players are slowing coming back to the squad. It's game on!

Noticed that this topic slipped all the way onto page 2!!

Chelsea, only dropped points against Man U and Everton so far this season. Looking set to make it 2 titles in a row! Which will be great for all those long suffering Blues fans who had to wait 50 years before last years crown.

Safely into the 4th round of the FA Cup. In a sence I hope our arch rivals Milwall beat Everton in the 3rd round replay just so we can see Milwall vs Chelsea! Might be time to watch The Football Factory before that clash!

Champions League: Not to happy about drawing Barcelona. Would have much preferred to draw them later in the competition. Guess its the price you pay for dropping a game during the round robin matches, and failing to score against a older defensive and boring Liverpool (Hence finishing 2nd in the group). We did beat Barcelona last season in a heated tie. Hoping to do the same again but it will be a tough ask!

So hows your team going???

By the way, Carling Cup... Wouldn't it be great to see Wigan win!! Hopefully Highbury will be stunned into silence during the 2nd leg. Go the WIGGIES!!!

Couldn't agree more with the Millwall beating Everton. My dad's home town, he has supported for as long as he has been able to support a team. He'd go bonkers if they got up over the dirty scousers.
I hate saying this, but Chelsea winning the Premiership is basically inevitable. Unless somehow, they get a run of injuries that every team but them have gone through. Their consistancy is just incredible, and their ability to grind out wins is unmatched. Even more reason why I hate them

chelsea havent had a run of injuries coz whenever they do get one, roman goes and buys a new player to join in the fun. if only other teams were owned by russians. like hearts in the spl. chelsea always seem to stuff up on bigger games anyway. all that money and they still cant beat raw talent like ronaldinho and eto'o. my team are going through a transition stage with the new stadium and all going up arsene hasnt been able to make any good buys for awhile, we will need to wait for 5 or so yrs to catch up again but no one will ever get the record of the invincibles. GREATEST PROFESIONAL ERA TEAM EVER!!! 50 games without a loss wont be beaten for a very long time

we r looking forward to barca knocking chelski out and us going through to the last 8 after beating real madrid's aging yet still great galacticos of stars. this year is the gunners time for euro glory, we could still win more trophies than chelsea. jose will be happy about that wont he...

Just remember who KNOCKED Barcalona out of UCL last season. It was CHELSEA.

Remember all this talk you dribbled about Arsenal going to come along and win the title last season? and now your talking about winning in Europe!! Wake up and smell the roses, Arsenal are the THIRD best team in LONDON!

As for Chelsea stuffing up on bigger games. Where is your proof? For what its worth, you may need to get a wriggle on this season. Would be very embarrassing to lose to Wigan in the league cup and then finish below them in the EPL anyway .

Arsenal are now one of the softest teams in the EPL (behind Middlesbrough - who will be relegated ). Since Viera has parted, Arsenal have turned spineless, Don't look threatening at all against the better EPL teams and have never had a good system in Europe.

Hope you have planned for life without Henry and Cole now!

Gary, it was only Birmingham City mate!

Regardless, a great season so far by both West Ham and Wigan! Both look set to finish top half of the table (providing they can finish the season off strong!)

Big disappointment would be Boro. Amazingly have beaten United, Arsenal and Chelsea at home this season but still find themselves down in the bottom 1/4. I dont think McLaren has the support of his players.

In other news, all those supporters who jumped off Leeds as soon as they were relegated can get prepared to jump back on! Leeds are currently inline to Playoff for the final promotion spot! Would be nice to see top flight football return to Elland Road.

3 of the next 4 matches in the EPL should be crackers...

Starting tomorrow morning with Arsenal making the trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool. Can the Gunners totally ruin Liverpool's confidence before the upcoming Champions League ties?

Blackburn should easily account for Sunderland Thursday morning.

Tottenham vs Wigan(Monday Morning) promises to be an interesting affair between two out of form teams who strangly enough are battling for a position in Europe!

Newcastle vs Charlton (whilst sitting below mid-table) have mirrored each other over the past 6. Both fairly inconsistant of late, should be an entertaining match between two team who will want to finish in the top half! This match could start that ball rolling!

Hehehe. I knew I was gong to get some quick witted smart arse come back like that. But I didn't know it was going to be that good, or I'd have posted earlier.
I have nothing to say about Manchester United's tie except to say that it appeared neither team really showed up on the night.
But really, the two teams I hate the most, Chelsea and Real, lost. Quite a good week of CL football for me.

yeah well the boys cant win if they play like girls. i swear the gunners girls squad would have been able to win that game last night. absolutley shocking. i am still hungover from being the first english team to win at the bernabau though. wish they could play like that in the epl though
