Strikes in a row in a non 300 game

So, what's the lowest game anyone has shot with 11 strikes?

If your talking about Australia, I wouldn't have a clue, but internationally...
God Bless America. It's 240! http://www.bowlingmembership.com/PDF/bowlers_encyclopedia_april04.pdf as all the records. Page 23 has what your looking. 17 Americans have bowled the front 11 for a 290. One lady, bowled 11 consecutive brooklyn strikes, last shot pocket for 300! Also, I found that the womens high 8 game series is higher then the mens!
Those records are absolutly crazy, and you think the scores are high here. Let's hope that 10pin bowling never reaches that level of stupidity here.

11 in a row, 296 Ive thrown 10 or 11 strikes in the one game and didnt bowl above 220. You have to count the fouls as strikes though (which they did). Most ive seen in a row spanned between 2 games was 16 or 17. That was awesome to watch.

We were playing 9 no tap yesterday, had my front 7 shots flush before I started throwing bad ones, but the 3rd frame i left a flush 7-10 and then again in the 6th i sent a scout to the 7 pin from the 7-10, so it counted as a strike, then i left a big 4 and bagged out again, so 10 strikes for a 220 odd.

Today, during City of Sydney Open Masters, a guy called Brett (whose last name I cannot remember...) bowled front 9 and then in the 10th left 1-2-5-10 and then took 2pins outta that for sumthin like 264? I think i remembered correctly...

Jen, Brett Layden had front 9 then a 2-4-8-10. He followed that up with a 502 series, I know that one cos he did it against me! haha, 482 and lost! hahaha.

That's just how it goes ahy cow, you deserved to be 50 up on me the first game not 5 down. The better bowler doesn't always win as we saw in your next match.

Good shots don't always result in strikes and not all strikes are good shots!

In a three game series i shot 24 in a row back in 1999 in the tuesday night doubles,,,,,finished the first with 7 then bowled 300 and started the next game with 5 then left the 7-10 split.BEST NIGHT I EVER HAD

My pb is 17 in a row over 2 games to get 290 ( started with 9 / ) and 263... would have been better if I didn't bowl 182 in the last game though :lol:

This one might be tough to match - I've gone 9-spare twelve-bagger for 290, only one of the strikes mid way through was on the wrong lane so it didn't count. :-(

I've also seen someone go 9-spare, 20 bagger, 9-spare-9 for 290/278. Has anybody thrown more than 20 legal strikes in a row WITHOUT getting a 300 game? (Max possible is 22)

I once brought a new Nitro r2 the thumb hole was tight it was my first game with it I threw the first 9 then my thumb started to stick I got an 8 - 1 for a 266. I also had 10 stikes in one game for a 230.

most i have had is 19 in a row, i had 52 in the 5th frame struggling, changed balls and didnt miss the hole for the next 19 finished off with 212/300

Yes Bruv, remember that nite well .... have not seen someone go from no clues to can't miss in such a short period of time.

Not exactly in relation to the topic, but apart from the usual front ten etc ..... one night i managed to finish with the first 5 in the 1st game (225), then bowled 300, then followed up with a nice 258 - that 258 - open, open then the last 10! doh!
