SOUTH COAST OPEN, SHELLHARBOUR BOWL, APRIL 2-3 2016

Just to let all NSW bowlers who are interested in competing in the NSW Regional tour that the South Coast Open is on at Shellharbour Bowl April 2-3

We will have 2 squads on Saturday A Squad 10am and B squad 2pm, our 1 game Eliminator tourney and BBQ early Saturday evening, a 9am C squad Sunday morning squad followed by the finals around midday.

Format is pretty simple, 6 game qualifying block, re entry allowed if available, top 15 make the finals finals with 3 on a pair match play.

Just sorting out our last sponsor, but we will be looking at at least $750 for 1st place, $120 for 15th based on 45 entries and 20 re entries. $100 entry fee and $60 re entry

Entry forms out early next week. Please post here or give us a call at the bowl if you want to put your name down.

Pattern will be our regular house shot 41 feet long, it has a little more volume it in than last year.

Just to let everyone know that we have kicked in the extra to make the 1st place for the South Coast open $1000 based on entries.

All squads will be to a max of 30 entries.

With C squad on Sunday morning we will give priority for non local bowlers, so when it comes to value, $100 entry for $1000 1st place is not bad for a Sunday drive to the Illawarra. Don't forget if you want to make a weekend out of it we will be having our Eliminator early Saturday night with up to $250 bucks to win if you stay alive in just 5 games. Not bad for $20 bucks entry which includes a BBQ and a beer/soft drink.

I really don't see any trouble getting the entries we have close to 20 locals bowling. Of course if we exceed entries we will be adding back to the prizefund.
