I think the Saturday night was enjoyed by all at the caravan park (apart from the old couple beside our cabin.....)
And then there was the bowling.
An impressive 22 entrants turned out for the inaugural Bowling Balls Australia SA Scratch event at Berri on the weekend. Yes the conditions were tough, probably extremely tough....but everyone had to bowl on them and adjust.
A big well done to "Steve's mate" Al Przybysz on taking out his maiden event of the series. His 214 was JUST enough to hold out Damien Geyer's 213 in the final. Tim Tran placed 3rd in his first event.
Danny Ross extends his lead at the top of the pointscore table, followed by 3 bowlers within 2 points of each other. Results are attached.
Thanks to Steve and Anne at Bowland Berri for donating a BBQ and a Pepsi ball into the mix.....the spare ball was won by the person who lasted the longest in a 7-no tap format.....well done ME! The BBQ was won by the person with the most consecutive strikes for the day. Well done Shaun Tanner (oops! Shane Tunnah....)
The next event will be held at Salisbury Bowland on 27th September 2009. Hope to see you all there!!
