You must be doing very well to have a sponsor and good luck to you, but without knowing peoples situations, saying "I know it cost a lot, but so what" is puerile and ridiculous.
For all the whines I hear about money, it's your choice. Either you love it enough to find the money or will work on finding a sponsor. If neither of these things are what you want to do, then I guess you don't place that high an importance on it.
Yes it all costs a lot, but so what. If you really want it bad enough you'll make it happen one way or another.
