I agree wif Jonesy. I was shocked when i found out that there were ppl sacked. How could this happen? Y did this happen? Im very shocked.

As a bowler I am absolutely dumb founded about the recent sackings. Majority being the most experienced at that and the sort of people that has always done things to benefit and encourage the league bowler. It is quit upsetting that the people that AMF should be keeping are the ones they are escorting out the door and in that case do they really have the best interest of the bowler at hand? No i dont think so AMF is all about making money therefore they will want to encourage social bowling and what does it sayu for our leagues are they soon going to cease existance as well? With the recent decisions been made seems very much like being that way.

I was another one that was shocked at the news. It seems as though AMF have decided to try and flex their muscles into the industry. I do feel sorry for those affected, and and eagerly awaiting what result these incidents will have on centres.
Who will replace? Are there more dismissals to take place?
What does this mean for AMF bowling centres in terms of customer retention?

When sporting groups are run buy bean counters inevatably they will thin out there staff.They do not nor will they care one bit about you or your bowling centre. Most league bowlers would leave the sport if they had to pay $12 a game, then again maybe thats why they cant get social bowlers in.Anyhow ive got know idea why i am typing this because know one from AMF Australia will be reading this.

Frankston won't close cause there is nothing out there and dandenong isn't either.

The Plan was to close Dandy but there held in a lease they can't get out of so there stuck with the place.

Steve I am sure that you will handle the pace,nothing like the past experience to get you thru those hectic times.
