Question for bowlers at World Youth

GeorgeF

Hypercell = Hyperhook!
I counted at least 4 two handers in just A squad in the guys singles.... How many are there bowling in the tournament do you think? Just curious.....

well there is already one team that is all two handers so plus the irish kid the italian and there is one in the finland team i would say mayb 15 but im not there so i wouldnt know but that is rough calculation.

Random question without notice, any of the females throwing it with both hands???

The number increases every year, its the way of the future... this year 15+.... in 2 years at next worlds it will be 20+ and so on

How many women Sam? Nice bowling yesterday too.... keep up that form and you can take revenge on your mates from the USA in the Masters.

john i would have to say none majority of two handers tend to bowl more like osku not so much like belmo its a little easier mayb when they get older they can refine their craft.

Hey Ryan,

It is funny when I watch people try two handed, and I am no exception. All side rotation and no forward rotation. What I found when I saw Belmo bowl up close for the first time was the amount of forward roll he has is amazing. The power is unbelievable.

One handed thumbless guys are the same, side roll. Mike Miller probably the exception with a fair amount of forward roll but gentle and smooth.

Mr George I have seen throw a few two handed shots, he gets pretty good forward roll, so let's hope that young guy doesn't start doing it more often.

no female 2 handers, all of them bowl nothing like belmo or osku, the way they try to bowl 2 handed is pretty disgusting to watch, especially the Irish guy

I plan to kick his butt, he made the doubles semi against the swedes so I'm hoping he loses :)

you hit the nail on the head john its the balance he has of side and forward that makes him powerful kids only see the ball hook and wat they see is the ball spin left so they think he can hook coz of the ball spinning left but actually wat they do not see is the forward motion on the ball that he has. it is easy for a two hander to get alot of side roll but it takes alot of practice and training to keep ur hand behind the ball and up the back of it people that try that either loft the ball or they can't catch the ball on the fingers at the botto of the swing causing it to roll en over end.

ps: sammy the irish guys doesn't look bad but he looks lost and he is in between a osku and belmo starts of as belmo finishes like osku. and thats the problem many two handers are lost coz their is no direction belmo and osku are at two different extremes of their spectrum. hopefully he will find his way.

Can i ask if the young fellow from Latvia that Sid Allen has been coachng is there. He was 13 in Orlando 2008 and look very promising.
