a huge congratulations to my good friend Peter Marker for his back to back efforts in winning the NSW Restricted masters at Villawood bowl today.
Pete bowls in Tamworth, which from my experience having bowled there myself is not conducive to high consistent scoring and thus maintaining a high average, he and his fellow Tamworthians walked into what could only be described as a jewel of a centre for them.
anyway, he entered on a 146 average and proceeded to confirm his huge liking to this and most other big smoke centres and shot a 227.9 average scratch for the 10 games.
also a big contrates to runners up Michael Marker (no relation) and Matthew McKenzie. and ladies winners Carla Gallo, Kathleen Bew and Lyn Deveney.
