Six - time world bowling champion Paeng Nepomuceno was once more honored by a Philippine Senate resolution citing Paeng for his recent victory in the South Pacific Classic held in Melbourne Australia where he prevailed over 150 international bowlers.
This is the second time that paeng has won Australia's most prestigious bowling tournament and he is the only non Australian bowling athlete to have won it twice.
The South Pacific Classic is Paeng's 118th career victory title.
The Senate Resolution No.18 was authored by Sen. Gringo Honasan who is the Chairman of Youth and Sports Committee.
Paeng was handed with the Senate Resolution by Sen. President Manny Villar together with his Filipino hosts in Melbourne, Mr. Kelly and Nina Raveche.
