Congrats to "chucky team" on winning. and to Trotts Team" and also to pat and david you all bowl well in it wet down to the very last game and chucky come up with the good. well done to all bowler hope u all had a good weekend and hope to see you all again nexts year

What an unbelievably close finish...the top 4 teams seperated
by 3.5 points (i think) after 60 games..just amazing.

will be back to push for the title again.

Hi All,
Hope all the bowlers and supporters had a great time in Mildura.
We certainly turned the weather on for you.
Congratulations to the winners, Craig(Chucky) Chandler, Luke Roberts & James Rice. bad luck to Mac, Ray & Trotts, bridesmaids again in one of the closest Marathons we have held with any one of five teans in the running to win with one block to go.
Well done again to Mac on his 300 game.

A big thankyou to all those bowlers that travelled to participate in what I think was a successful and friendly tournament.

Thanks Lisa & rob for again putting a great tourny, thank your crew of workers for their great effort over the weekend. chucky well done on a hard fought win. mac the 300 was fantastic. To my team mates -mary & jenny thankyou for bowling with me ,Its been a pleasure to bowl with two people who wont give up even when we struggle,to get back to where we did was a great effort . looking forward to next year.

Rob probably kept me from having several nervous breakdowns before, during and after the weekend.
His hours of work made our first marathon, I think the most successful one yet.

I have never believed in stress, i just got awfully flustered trying to make sure everything was going to go ok.

Mac you're a champ, your 300 made front page of our local paper today.
The first time anything about bowling has gone in the next days rag.

Soooooooo Sorry for forgetting your name PAUL Kerr, everythings a blurr when you've been awake for 31 hours.

Next year we will be having egg & bacon sangas. :p
but I'm sure everyone was happy with the cafe, the girls (Lyn, Jodie and Alicia) worked tiredlessly to make sure I could bowl and not worry about a thing.
I would appreciate any feed back to make next years even better.

mildura marathon

well done to lisa and rob on their great effort over the weekend. you both did a great job for your first year running such a big tournament. well done to all the staff involved in running the tournament. the bacon and eggs was a great idea and so was the bottomless tea and coffee. thank you to my team mates rick and damien. unfortunately we didn't do to well this year but at least we were the strongest team, we held up the rest of the teams. better luck next year.
 
Well done to all for such a good tournament and hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as i did.

Well, what a big weekend....still struggling to get out of bed in the morning! Thanks to all the guys, Rob, Lisa, Alicia, Jess, Backend guys, Kiosk staff, and all others involved in making the weekend such a blast!
Congrats to team Chucky on blitzing a hot field, They pulled out the big games when required and truly "ran the best race" so to speak! Congrats to Mac on a sensational 300 game, should e worth 400 when u have to get up at 4am to make it happen! Congrats mate.
Bring on 2005.....Cant Wait!

had another great weekend in mildura, the bowl looks fantastic and look forward to it even looking better in 2005, well done to rob, lisa and the crew on running another great marathon. lisa you need to practise your umming and arghing to get up to russ's standard of public speaking :wink:

well done mac on the 300, could have been another one in one of the preceding games as well as i thought you were a little unlucky.

Yep, once again another great marathon. They just keep getting better and better. Well done to Lisa, Rob, Alicia, Jessica and all the support staff.
The bowl looks great, the food was great and the equipment continues to stand up to one of the toughest tests imaginable.

Well done to Craig,Luke and James, it was a close battle all weekend.
And Mac.......WOW!!!!! 300 on a tough condition at that hour of the morning. Simply the best.

Can't wait until next year. If there is anything we can do to help just say the word.

Thanks for running a fantastic Tournament. It was my first & I can guarantee it wont be my last.
I had a great time, even though it took me 20 games to bowl my best game of 250. I was running on no sleep. :sleeping:
Thanks for the lend of the couch, it was very comfortable, better than going back to my room & putting up with the snorers..

I always have the greatest time in Mildura and it just gets better every year this of course being the best by a long shot even though we did'nt cash SORRY Mickydee and Tweety :oops: you guys were great and thanx.
Finally I what to say a huge thanx to Lyn, Alicia and Jessica you girls were the best my chips and gravy were sensational and my bed was so cosy luv you guys =D>
P.s I bought the dunny paper :p

Chucky how about we come back next year to defend our title. Team chucky can fire up again i'll see if i can match it with you next time around
 
Well congratulations firstly to Team Chandler on causing the upset of the century by winning the marathon... well doe to all the team... they bowled extemely well...

A Special Congratulations to Rob, Lisa, The Kitchen Bitches (Lyn, Jodie, Alicia & Jess) and also to the Backend Boys (Darren, Greg, Pete & Luke) on organising a successful tourniment... The Lanes were great, the Food was Superb and overall it was just "Special"

Like to say thank you and congratulations to all the bowlers for makin this tourniment one of the best tournies for the year...

Also well done for Mac Stewart on bowlin yet another 300 game in the marathon... one in Werribee.. and another in Mildura... specially on the tough lanes... well done mate..
