Mentone Bowl is running a Handicap tournament on Sunday 13th November.
MENTONE HANDICAP SPRINT
**ENTRY FORM ATTACHED**

First Place is $500
Entry $100
8 games Qualifying
Double money back for cutting to Top 8 ($200)
Money back for 13th (approx. 1/3 of field) ($100)
Prize Money based on 40 entries.
Handicap 90% of 220
Handicap ceiling of 50.
Top 8 bowl 7 games Matchplay
Pinfall carries over from Qualifying

**A 3 game skins will be conducted should bowlers who miss the cut want to bowl. Entry to skins $20. Skins worth $30.
**Highest placed non cutting female wins a bowling ball.

Seriously would bowlers who normally bowl in the NSW open also come down and bowl in a Vic Handicap event

Same as those who bowl in the Dunn Shield

If so it might be a good opportunity for the lower average bowlers to excel

Or just another case of the elite being looked after

Nev i think she meant people who are bowling in the NSW open wont be able to bowl in the skins event not around the other way.

worren you still have our support as you know there are four of us handicapped bowlers who love competing, come one all you handicapped bowlers out there support worren and all the good work he does, if we are willing to travel four hours surely you city slickers can support it. Bowling isnt just for the elite !

just to remind you unfortunately I MUST CANCEL THIS EVENT due to date clashes.
Be on the look out for next year.
NB When I selected the date (based on initial VSS dates), I assumed bowlers who would bowl in the NSW Open would not be ones to compete in the Handicap event. But you never know!
