Junior Brisbane Cup

Can anybody help I am seeking information about the Junior Brisbane Cup. To the best of my knowledge it is or at least was held at Greenslopes but I would like to know if it is on this year and if so when??

Here's some info below:

Junior Brisbane Cup

@ Greenslopes on 17-18th October
Entry fee: $150
2 divisions - Boys & Girls (both scratch)
2 squads
Open to any junior bowler aged under 18 as at 1.1.09.

Format:
Stage 1:
All bowlers bowl 10 games in one appearance on Saturday, changing lanes after every two games. Pinfall carries over.

Stage 2:
Boys final - top 12 carry over and bowl 11 games matchplay. Girls final - top 8 carry over and bowl 7 games matchplay. Bonus pins - 20 for win, 10 for draw, 0 for loss. Highest pinfall after matchplay in each division will be declared champions.

Schedule:
Saturday
'A' Squad - Checkin 12.30pm, Bowl 1pm.
'B' Squad - Checkin 4.30pm, Bowl 5pm.

Sunday
Boys Final Check-in 9.30am, Bowl 10am.
Girls Final Check-in 10am.
Prizefund presentations will be made at conclusion of bowling.

Prize fund payout: (may be adjusted depending on entries)
Boys (based on 40 entries)
1st-$600, 2nd-$500, 3rd-$425, 4th-$375, 5th-$325, 6th-$275, 7th-$250, 8th-$225, 9th-$200, 10th-$175, 11th-$150, 12th-$130.
Girls (based on 20 entries)
1st-$500, 2nd-$400, 3rd-$300, 4th-$250, 5th-$200, 6th-$175, 7th-$150, 8th-$130.

Hi I called up the other day and somebody said that there's probally only going to be one squad with the current number of juniors that's going to be bowled at 12:30 is this still going ahead

I can confirm that there will now only be one squad on the Saturday, 12.30pm check-in. If there are any issues with this squad time, please call me (Jason) or Sue Long at the centre on 3397 6191 a.s.a.p.
