Everybody knows that Ann-Marie Putney is a great bowler, in fact we have known this for a very long time.

But I sincerely believe that the display of bowling that Ann-Marie put on during both Rachuig (230 ave) and Australian Masters (242 ave) puts her into a whole other level as one of the countries best ever bowlers.

And to add to the bowling clinic that she put on during Nationals, she is also a very approachable and down to earth person who is a wonderful ambassador for our game on the National and International stages.

You are a deadset legend/champion Ann-Marie, keep up the great bowling.

You just beat me to the praise for this chick - I truly believe what you have written and whilst the 'boys' deservedly get their accolades, Ann-Maree just keeps on achieving, competing without any fuss.

A truly GREAT bowler and person. My personal hero !!!! AND to beat everyone in both Rachuig and Masters must surely rank as one of the best-ever achievements in this country.

Yes I agree, she is a very good Bowler and I have never, in all the years I've known her, heard her complain about Lane conditions. I've heard her Father complain but that's another story.

As her coach and ball driller for now approaching 20 years, it's great to watch a true athlete and champion get to the top and continue.

The Australian Masters is one of the toughest gigs to win.

It's been 15 years between drinks on this one. This is a win that Ann-Maree will enjoy for years to come.

Rachuig was stunning, but The Masters was ... something else.

Hopefully this will give her "automatic" inclusion into the Womens World Championships next year.

Ann-Maree you are an inspiration for all that play the game. A living LEGEND.

It was an absolute privilege to watch you bowl all week you are truly an amazing person nothing fazes you.
Up and coming junior bowlers should take a leaf out of her book Putts has a fantastic mental game she conducts herself professionally on the lanes I have never seen her spit the chewy ever and above all she is a very down to earth girl who has the time to speak to everyone about anything
