I can see it now…Belmo is just doing it all for the love of the Game…If he wins in Vegas I am sure he will give the Cheque straight to second place…

Actually Belmo really is on a Vacation full time…He only fly’s to these events for the frequent flyer points…

Word is that Belmo has cancelled all his squads for tomorrow and will be taking photos of all the casinos…

And since he is “FOR SALE” next time Belmo gets interviewed on TV or Radio he will say TotalBowling.com.au 10 times for $50.00 or 20 times for $75.00…

I guess what I am have really been trying to say is, if the chain operators or the governing body want to use Belmo (or anyone else for that matter) to promote the sport, then they should compensate that person for the time, travel, accomodation etc. after all Belmo and the rest of us have put many 10's of thousands (probably even a 2 to 300 thousands) of $ into the sport anyway and he would be one of the few to have run a profit.

That last point should not preclude him from being entitled to some payment for his time and expertise. It is very seldom bowlers get something for nothing so the same should apply to the operators/governing body

The only person who comes close to Happy Gilmore in bowling is me! I often wear my Boston Bruins ice hockey jersey when I bowl and people recognise it as the same one Adam Sandler wears in the movie! :movingtongue:
