Firstly, there's lots of old urethane balls - Ebonite Nitro, Red Hammer (the real one, not that pearl thing), Sumo et cetera. I still have 16 lb versions on the rack in the garage. They still work well if you play in the dry on a house block too.
But to be competitive, we all know we need to use cheater balls because everyone else is, so here's my choices:
Fire Storm. Great read. Great Carry. Didn't leap left off the spot. you could even use it on the dry. What more could you ask for? I'd love to find one of these NIB with a low TW.
Triple Xtreme I still take one of these everywhere. Awesome oil ball. Hits like a truck. Reads the pattern smoothly.
