how many bowling balls do you have/own?

If you include the museum of great old 16lb pieces in my pro-shop (some with wasp nest muddies in the holes until recently!), then 40+. I have about 12 that I actually use though.

Favorite? Storm Virtual Gravity Shift. Pity I never see enough bloody oil in Canberra to use the thing! Might take it for a run tonight for the hell of it. (Couldn't do any worse in our awful league conditions presently...)

ive had a certain type of ball made by Hammer for the last 10 years.
and recently i thought i had to up grade so i got a Hammer - RAW ANGER.

i tried it out today for the first time and bowled 198, 158, 184. Total: 540

not bad considering I recently learned how to use a wrist guard and actually get the ball to spin properly.
and today with this new ball ive never seen any ball i let go actually follow the same line time and time again.
best $260 i ever spent on a bowling ball.

ive also purchased new shoes and im currently loking at a new ball bag and also another bowling ball i had on order a couple of weeks ago.

after the 3 games i bowled today ive got back some of the confidence i lost recently due to a really bad form slump.

Favorite ball at the moment would be the Virtual Gravity if get lanes to suit.
If really dry the Jolt Pearl is the go.

i know ive said this before but here is my list of bowling balls.

an ordinary HAMMER reactive ball thats 10yrs+ old
HAMMER Raw Anger.

the raw anger is a great ball both to bowl with and good to look at as well.
it only took me 4 games before i cracked 200 with it.
and im stunned that i can get the ball to turn in as much as it has.

i can tell you it looks really nice spinning down the lane. it has a nice pattern on it and thats partly the reason i got it. aside from being better at turning in thatn my current ball.

also ive spent just over $700 on new equipement.

worthwhile investment for me.
i came back from a tournament in Grafton NSW a month ago really down in the dumps and i knew that i needed to get new gear.

even if it cost me a good deal of money.
if it all last a long time it is money well spent.

and you know what i couldnt be happier.

thats it, i can't understand people taking more than 4 balls anywhere to a championship.

If you bowl on lots of different lane conditions and want to bowl in Championships etc when lane conditions can change in a few frames then you need several balls that compliment your style and ability..

On taking balls to tournament. If I drive, I take 6, If I fly, then only 3, one being the most valuable..the spare ball, for that pesky 10pin
