how do you handle it??

A book I once read, seperated your mind into the conscious mind & the un(or sub)conscious mind. The concept was that your conscious mind could learn things, it absorbed things & allowed you to learn. Other than that, it's totally incompetent at performing any sort of activity. The subconscious mind can't learn, it can only control your body to do the things it already knows how. This generally works pretty well, as the subconscious mind does what it is supposed to & the conscious mind doesnt interfere.
The problem comes, when the subconscious mind tries to interfere with the actions it normally cant perform, & this is what happens when you "choke". The trick is trying to keep the subconscious mind in control, 'cause it already knows how to throw the ball, & how to strike.

In plain english, it means what has already been said. Don't think too much & just stick to your normal routine.
That being said, when you get up to throw the 12th X & your body goes completely numb, it's a hard thing to do.
As a backup plan, just convince yourself to make the best shot you know how, & if it doesn't come through, well, it just wasn't meant to be. As long as you did the best you could, & you feel happy with how you rolled the ball, that's what matters.
