Gold Coast Roll-offs Assoc. Chall.

Initial details have been announced for the roll-off for the 2003 Gold Coast squad.There will be 2 separate roll-offs, the first being on Sunday 8 December 2002 and the second on Sunday 12 Jan 2003.
There will be 10 games each day.
Venue(s) to be announced when all the tenders are returned. Costs will be $10 non refundable entry fee and $100 being total lineage fee. Coaches and Managers application forms will be available after the second roll-off. And yes, accommodation has been booked. Entry forms will be available in all GC centres in October.

Just a quick question Andrew.......Will the reserves be selected or will they be the persons who finish in 8th position in the mens and ladies? Only asking cause it does say selected.

It could be a one horse race Craig. It might be full of Southerners who bowl in phantom leagues at Legends. Isn't that what they do for State?

all i know is, they meet the criteria

and i seriously doubt them helping out anyone who is against them bowling in queensland, are you the mens manager again andrew ???

We'll just have to disagree about them meeting the criteria, and the managers and coaches nomination forms are not out yet. Whats the weather like in your part of the world?

Ok thanks Andrew, but if they will be selected, what sort of criteria will the selection board go off? Seeming as there is no indentification of tournament history, past and present results to be handed in with nomination forms. Just a thought? :?

While at Ashmore last night I saw the Roll-offs were at Legends for the first one and Nerang for the second one.

good thinking hey, tournament is on guardian, so hold the trials at 2 urethane centres, and leave out the guardian centre that is smack bang in the middle of them.
