The smart money should be on Fremantle. They are in better form then Port. That being said Port have a much greater upside then Freo, if Port play to the best of their ability they will win.

Question for Freo fans... Who will stop the "look at me man" Tredrea?
and for Port fans... Pavlich?

Regardless of what happens I hope one of you finish 8th (even though i think its impossible?) so we can play you at Telstra Dome week 1 of finals!

We all know Port is gonna win but in any case whether Port or Fremantle make the finals it won't matter either team will just be making up the numbers cos neither have looked like winning the flag at any stage during the year and the only way Freo will EVER win a premiership is if the GF is played at the Dockers' home ground!!

P.s Just want to give a big round of applause to Carlton for winning the pre-season cup and backing it up with the spoon great effort almost as good as Nick Stevens who had he stayed with the Power would have had a premiership from last year but instead finds himself bottom of the ladder nuff said

So true, carlton can have stevens mate he is way over rated.
Also we all thought fevs imporoving his hair would improve his game but it clearly didnt ;) sorry tash!
 
My money is on Shane Parker to shut out Tredrea. He did a great job on Fraser last week.

Dockers might be there to "Make up numbers" if they win but we will still be ahead of eight other teams in the bottom eight

HAHAHAHAH you all crack me up :D I have heard this every year , but it really does not bother me you know , and when the wixard cup is won peoples response is that it is a mickey mouse cup and really does not mean a thing lol so it does not bother me that this has happened , but if I were premiership winner and struggling( well must win ) to make the 8 the following year which is an afl record for the 2 grand finalists for the preceding year not to make the finals the next year has not happened in a hell of a long time i would be a bit worried port should have been at the top again lol .

But for those of you who do'nt know kelly and i razz each other all the time it is all in good fun and occasionaly we razz on here ;)


but just wait we'll have the priority pick in national draft and pre season--------- CARLTON 2006 a better year! ;) :D

Yeah we know Tash its just all a little bit of good natured ribbing all part of the game just like hip and shouldering used to be (until recently where Pickett gets suspended for everything!!)

Its easy to say Port should have been at the top again but we've been there for a few years now mainly due to playing well and also minimal injuries helped where as this year we have been brought down to a level playing field in terms of injuries and take the crows for example hardly any injuries this year and playing for their first ever top finish in the minor round.

Carlton have enough quality players Tash they just underperformed this year (well after the pre-season anyway) so it'll be interesting to see what type of players Carlton will go 4.

He Bobba yeah i know its all in good fun with you too , very true we have underperformed after wizard cup , but honestly our young players have more experience now and should be able to cut it in afl.

I would hope that ( should we fin bottom) we go for a young player from the respective local sides. there are a few opportunities there should we fin bottom with picks 1 and 4 , that would be the logical thing to do , there are a few draft/trade talks going about on the carlton site i visit frequently :shock: , that at least 6 players will be either delisted or traded some of them include Bowyer, Norman,prendergast,wiggins,morell(has had a ripper 3 weeks and should not be sent packing)johnson,davies,and sporn.

Who knows what would happen but after watching the Bullants vs Werribee tigers last week , Houlihan should be back in the side and promote OHailpin off the rookie list for 2006 , but a young one from werribee that i thought was good and would be an assett is young Podsiadly!

Anyway, 1 more week to see what our draft will look like............ would be nice to thump the roos, which after being thumped ourselves we came back the very next week to win on every occasion we got hammered.

But yeah.......... it will be interesting to see who we get , i'll be awaiting the draft results................... :cool:

I really like the biffs bumps and brawl and those brilliant hip and shoulders too...........pity we dont see much of that these days. ;)

Everyone has there bad spots... We're going thru one now. Hopefully they go for some young blood for the higher draft choices but pick up some experienced vets with their lower picks or by trading.

And to all of the people that say "you guys suck hahahaha"... At least we've picked up some silverware this season... or even in the last 100years :D

The ribbing's all in good fun though :D ... so what date in August are Freo taking their pre-season trip? hahaha

freo cant even win a final at home so i think theres no need to worry about what they will do at the g.

Also everyone is quick to jump off the west coast bandwagon arent they! all the losses are away games and the eagles have not been beaten at subi in over a year.

They get thumped by geelong and every starts talking up a loss at home... Listen guys it wont happen. West Coast get bagged because apparently they cant travel. 6 wins from 10 games away isnt that bad im afraid. Plus no one ever bags the teams that lose to the eagles in perth. They blame it on the travel. Well im sorry, you cant bag the eagles travel and not the teams that travel to perth.

ok that said.... West Coast will make the grandfinal because there is no team that can beat them at home.

But who will they play????

well DJ Luko, you would be one of those eagles supporters who jumped on the bandwagon this year. I know plenty of those people.

And I wouldn't be bragging about them winning the finals games at home. When your in a final it's a whole different game to the normal rounds.

Another thing, Freo have only played one final at home.
