and we looked damn fine too ;)

Seriously, to back up Morty's words.....

We have bowled in team challenges for a lot of years, but this year's Easter challenge at Kingaroy would have to be one of, if not THE BEST team events that Jagga and I have ever participated in. Every single bowler that was there was there for one reason - they WANTED to be there. Not for the money, the fame, the glory...(hang on, this is bowling, we don't have any of that :D) - they were there for the love of the game, and the pride of representing their local associations. The real heroes of this sport were at Kingaroy this weekend, and age and bowling style was no barrier on a testing condition. There were no egos to trip over, no temper tantrums - competition was fierce, but the sportsmanship and comararderie between the teams was genuine, and what the game is all about.

The continuing presence of the "Easter Bunny" made for some light hearted entertainment which was appreciated by us all - though it is extremely doubtful that Mr Bunny would have gone down as well at any other event.;)

Congratulations to Morty and Kelly, and all the cast and crew at Kingaroy for a great weekend. You should all be extremely proud of how well everything went. Congrats too, to the team from Maryborough on your win in the playoff - we would have gotten the gold if our team was allowed age difference handicaps.....:D.

Flower, Guido and Frosty - it was a pleasure as always!!!

We look forward now with great anticipation to Ashmore..........
