IVE NOTICED THAT THERES NO CONSISTANCY IN DRILLING DEPTH ON SOME OF THE BALLS I HAVE HAD DRILLED.JUST FOR EXAMPLE THE FINGER TIPS DEPTH VARY QUITE ABIT AND A COUPLE OF MY BALLS ARE TWICE THE DEPTH AS THE OTHER.NOT KNOWING THE TRUE ASPECTS OF DRILLING OR PROBABLY BEING IGNORANT IM JUST CURIOUS AND ASKING THE QUESTION IS THIS THE NORM OR IS THERE A SET DEPTH.
NOT BEING CRITICAL JUST ASKING A QUESTION THAT S ALL.

Sometimes the fingers are drilled a bit deeper to remove weight so a balance hole is not required.

^This.

I have a finger hole drilled Normally, then deeper with a smaller bit to take out finger weight for static balance.

It'll be wonderful when they finally do away with static weight balance rules...
