Country Cup 2006

Looks like the calm before the storm, all is quiet as everyone starts to make the final preparations towards Country Cup 2006.

Gatsby, you have been very quiet lately, you still here? You have not said anything since I edited your text.

Yep Carmers - i am still here

I have been checking the thread at least once per day but there has not been very much activity.

I did not even notice that you edited my text - i must be losing it.. lol

I had a couple of attempts at getting the thread fired up but no-one took the bait. (I tried to stir things up with Mr F's average and got a couple of responses, i tried to get an argument when i said the Men's division was the consolation prize and that the main event was the overall - and much to my surprise got Zero takers. I tried to get some conversation started by making a joke about Kev's Emerson photo where Thommo is kneeling down - and saying that i did not realise he was so short - apparently he actually is short and so that went over like a lead balloon.. lol)

After that i gave up trying to dangle bait (I am obviously using the wrong bait) and i am now impatiently waiting for March 11th to roll around.

Thought of some questions that might get some fun answers.

1. Biggest Dummy spit?

Chucky when the "TEAM" does not do as he requests. Seen him in action a few years ago with a couple of teams here.

2. Biggest ride?

Deano or Woza, just for destruction purposes.

3. Silliest ride?

Sorry but probably the "Tiapan"

4. Biggest pump up or chainsaw?

Kev I reckon, but will be hard to beat the one at Emerson.

5. Most intimate moment?

Deano & The ONE or Lisa & Thommo discissing his lost pants.

6. Loudest moment?

Samara missing another 5 pin.

7. Most hungover?

Pat "I pulled a muscle" Fahy, Mr Farky or Sutto.

8. Best picture?

Better leave that up to Paige.

9. Biggest winner?

Chucky, getting to participate in Country Cup

10. Biggest loser?

Chucky, when his dreams dont come true.

Grumpie - That is the best bit of sarcasim that I have seen in along time

i love the fact that you all would hate me to win, thats the kind of motivation i look for from you guys

most intimate moment will be when deano either comes to me looking to bail him out of the ****, or he comes to me looking for sympathy cause he is bowling with a crap team, either way, he will have a tear in his eye

biggest winner, i will have many wins over the weekend

biggest loser, anyone who lets me into their head

biggest dummy spit, yeah i will win that, the sight of my players drinking, looking unfit or acting like sooks will be enough to burn the fuse quickly. the record for a dummy spit is 1 game and 8 frames, just ask them 2 mildura boys about that one

biggest ride could once again goto kevvy, at emmerson he was seen riding the pine for 5 hours on sunday, and well i could easily see that happening again, with all the attention i have drawn to him

Hello All
This is Thomo Paige's better half. I have read the whole thread and it makes for some funny reading. Paige is short yes just over the 5ft mark as i am 5ft6 she also has a flat head for your can, but she still has teeth so not the perfect woman YET. Any way this being my first post and maybe my last after Paige reads it. All i have to say to you Craig is if Kev has to be on the bench for 5 hours on any day and we get the some result as Emerson then so be it AND you have to allow for his age now he is getting older. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oi I didn't say you could post on here Thomo!!!

What an introduction to the forum, after that post there will be no drinks for my better half (he wishes he was the better half) at country cup so my list grows bigger and my duties easier. Now you all know what I have to live with lol. ;)

Poor Kev, he is getting older now. Mind you if his son's form on tuesday night (against me) is anything to go by he will be better than his dad but he will still have all of Kev's quirks, he's just a mini version!!

Hey you lot, leave poor Kevvy alone.
With age comes many things.

Wisdom, longer hangovers, less of some things, more of others.
The list could go on.
