As you can see the last person on the FULL SQUAD LIST to have not paid a Deposit goes straight to the Reserves list…This is how we run the circuit and has been a success all year…This is why we say a spot is not secured without a deposit as some squads fill up fast…

It is the fairest way Dave…You would have seen in previous posts of Kellies that when the squad was full that the lowest no secured spot then moves to the reserves list…

Understand. Was waiting to talk to someone tonight to ask how the tournament works as it seems to me that as this would be the first one of the series for me I wasn't sure if I should bother because there is no chance of winning anything?? So not too sure whether or not to bother? Acutally I didn't realise that that is how it works...again first one for me...maybe if i had have known I would have paid up before asking questions to see if I wanted to bowl in it. Never mind.... I'll get over it.

I Realise this is your first event of the year and none better to make a start in…Nearly HALF the field make the cut and Cash…...MOST people bowl a tournament to gain experience, those that are here to make money out of it are in it for the wrong reasons, not to mention are in the wrong sport because in Tenpin Bowling NO ONE in Australia makes money…

Either way, pay a deposit and you’re straight into B Squad…
Deposits are also there so that people DON”T decide to bowl at the last minute, end up costing someone a chance to compete in the event because someone else wasted that spot by not turning up…

It’s also to protect the bowling centres as it’s a weekend they have NO SOCIAL PLAY and they need to try and guarantee numbers for the events…

I thought I read somewhere that you had to bowl in a certain number of the series to be able to have any chance of winning something....that's why I needed to talk to someone about it tonight as I am a little confused...also I didn't want to do somebody out of a spot that has bowled the required amount of events (if that is a requirement and I didn't just imagine it?). Anyway all in all I am just confused. If there is any point in me going in it then I will. Looking forward to getting back into bowling tournaments after a long break away from it.

If someone has a chance to win the whole circuit, trust me there name is probably already down.

Each stop has it's own prize fund so it doesn't matter if you haven't bowled one before. You can still win if your good enough
